Active Shooter Situation in Lewiston Maine

Retired FBI agent being interviewed on the local Maine news just said that the reason so many were killed is due to the 30 round magazines that ARs use.

These people have no shame and just can’t wait to start blaming the tool used to carry out these horrific acts.

Apparently Lewiston isn't one of those towns Jason Aldean was singing about
Try that in a small town (Lewiston is the third largest city in ME that votes predominatel blue) he meant a small conservative town.

Yeah but it looks like it doesn’t have a front sight post. That would exclude it from being a military rifle.
M4 block 2s and URGIs don’t have FSBs

And how about his Jab Status? Not sure about the rest of you but as I said earlier people are Nuts out there. Covid fked a lot of people up man lets not just ignore this fact the Covid thread alone proves this.

This crap has been a problem way before Covid scam. I wouldn’t try to connect the two things.

So, here's my analysis. The car-by-boatramp seems 100%. So..

1) He had a secondary vehicle parked there or used a basic watercraft to reach a secondary vehicle. Upstream is the scene and there is a dam just downstream, but brief use of water would throw off the dogs regardless. He hasn't been found in over 3 hours x 75 mph on the highway means he is somewhere in here:

If this is the case, he may not turn up for weeks, months or even years. His cash will run out so unless he has a stolen identity to operate under, so he'll be found eventually. Whether or not an accomplice picked him up doesn't change much, and I can't fathom he had a "buddy helping the cause", just no way...

2) You bet your ass that chopper had FLIR as well. If he proceeded on foot with a half-hour head start, and likely being in shape, he was 2 miles away by the time they got there and probably 6 miles away long before a good scent would have been found. Seems if he was on foot exclusively, they'd have found him by now either by flir or dogs. Regardless, as of midnight, if he was on foot, he's somewhere in here:

That's a lot of square miles and thousands of hiding places given all the unoccupied vacation homes, cabins, general abandoned buildings, etc... Even a Watertownesque response won't produce him for days. At some point his food/water stash will run out if he even has one, and no way he'd make it into public locally without being spotted. He'll either get caught foraging or B&E, but his could be upwards of 1-3 weeks if he planned ahead.

So, they'd be just fine if he only had 10 round mags and only killed 4 people and wounded 6 more?

anyone know about all the circling up closer to Lisbon? they seem to be really interested in 'downtown' Lisbon Falls... Edit: N366SP does indeed have FLIR, you can see it in the photo.

1-3 weeks of public national manhunt media coverage will get 1) the MA bill passed and 2) get Biden his beloved AWB passed in the Senste. The alphabet bois didn’t plan on having a MAGA house speaker though. The 52 RINOs who voted for the last bill will surely line up for the cameras to pass an AWB. But willl there be enough pressure on the new speaker to force him to hood the vote. Or can they procedurally do it without him?

A safehouse with food, water, and supplies stocked means he could wait in hiding for many months. If that safehouse is located in a very rural, he could do the Eric Rudolph thing and not be caught for years.

If the goal is escape to a foriegn country, all he has to do is make the search radius as large as possible and all that requires is he stays out of sight for a few weeks, then attemps to travel and has a very large and full gas tank because the more he stops, the more likely he is spotted.

Also, I'm not convinced he hopped on the interstate because I have been of the opinion that there are cameras and plate readers on every Interstate with facial recognition tech. If he was on I95, he'd have been caught by now.

… have you seen an ar reload done by a well trained operator? A mag size limitation will only reduce the amount of ammo he can carry. Nothing else….
I've seen videos where mag changes are under 2 seconds even with amateurs who have never tried to "operate" before. When practicing in a safe environment, I'm usualy 1.5-2 seconds but am not pushing things either, just used to it. Basically just drop the mag, grab another and slide it in and hit the bolt catch.
