ATF E-Forms Submission wait time

So I'm finally starting to worry here. I filed 2/25 and haven't heard shit. Other guys have already been approved that filed same day but live in other states. ...Maybe someone could have the ATF aND ask for an explanation?

please dont call and ask

I would just keep a lid on it until you get an actual denial. No need to kick the hornet's nest.
+1, I have a form1 pending from 2-18. It should have been approved or disapproved by now. But I'm staying quiet. I suspect there's some behind the scenes talks on this matter already.

Agreed. They have more than likely put MA applications aside and deliberating on what actions to take on the matter. If they flat out reject and refund pre-7/20 applications, it would be an extreme and unjust move by the ATF that would set a ridiculous precedent.

I was looking at NFA tracker and it looks like the atf is all over the place, two separate eform1's approved today in other states one from Feb11 and another from Mar31. And almost all forms approved today are from MO with various dates....strange.

yeah Jason Bowers is having a productive morning

My guess is the ATF is in contact with AG to get guidance if SBRS are still legal in the Commonwealth. All the bullshit on the AG site regarding the new AWB makes no mention of sbrs . So who knows. Bit I'm getting impatient.

I wouldn't hold your breath any longer guys.

I was at an LGS today (not going to mention which one for fear of unintended consequences for them) and the owner mentioned that he received a call from the ATF on Friday 9/2 regarding an NFA item that was to be transferred to his shop. The ATF told him that they were putting all MA NFA transactions/submissions on hold indefinitely until their legal team could make sense of the AG's decrees.

I wish I could provide more details but that was the extent of the conversation on that subject... and I wanted to pass along the info.

Sorry guys.

Of her own decree, anything owned before 7/20 is ok, and she considers everything before-hand OK for now, I would think lowers registered before 7/20 shouldn't have any problem - even using her own understanding (especially now that she thinks lowers are firearms like the feds do). People that filed after the 20th I would think are in the murkiest water. That being said, I think the majority that scrambled before 41F should be fine. Something transferred on 9/2 is well after the fact, so that's no surprise.

Nothing to do with MA or anything, but I just got another approved Form 1 back for a suppressor.

5 1/2 months. Times getting looooonger.

When I called to check on a Form 4, they said approvals will be 6 months or more for the foreseeable future.

Sorry guys.

I've been told the exact same from Ted clutter
