ATF E-Forms Submission wait time

Just figured I would drop this here.

Is there any chance that the ATF will reconsider its stance in late January, early February considering the new leadership?

I emailed the atf playing dumb and asked if there was any issues with my submission since it's been almost 10months. This is their exact reply copied and pasted:

The NFA Branch advises that they are awaiting resolution of a question regarding Massachusetts State law. If you wish further information, contact the NFA Branch at 304 616-4500

That's so funny. I just sent them an email as well. I'm sitting on 243 days right now. Thanks to checking NFA Tracker, my blood is reaching vapor pressure.

Well since you "hereby request a response", I am sure that they will be properly motivated to ignore your inquiry. lol

"Just give me the guns bitch!"

I thought it sounded more forceful. I'm used to writing to attorneys and government bodies for work so it's just my default disposition

I sent them an email stating that people who have e-filed in May have already been approved. If it was truly on a first come, first served basis why have I not received any contact from the ATF.

The BS cut/paste answer I got was:

"Anticipate an 8-month processing time for an eForm 1 based on the date of submission of the form due to submission volume. The form will not be assigned or reviewed until reached in the queue and, if contact is necessary, the examiner will contact you then. The status will remain as submitted/in process until final action is taken. When processed, you should receive an email notification of the final action with a pdf of the form and the form should also appear in the appropriate folder in the eForms system. "

It was the exact answer I got 3 months ago, just with the "8" swapped in. What a crock of shit.

In my email I included my form number and permit number. Might be why I got a more direct reply specifically stating MA law BS.

I did that too, just left that part out in my post. I try to make a button pusher's life easier and spoon feed them as much data as possible so I dont have to deal with excuses in another round of emails.

I submitted an EForm 1 with an NFA trust in March of this year..... Still waiting and no response when I have inquired through the website....I understand that a big part of the delay is in response to the AG ruling on "Assault Weapons", but can't get a confirmation from them (BATF) on that either....

I called the NFA 8 times gave them my control number and serial number every time they tell me TED CLUTTER is reviewing my application transfer me to his phone never got him always a answering machine I leave a message and never get a call back.

That sounds like a plain but do you think there will really be any changes with Trump they will still have the same NFA people and if they have the same people I would think we would still have the same problems.

I would hope things will change but I definitely would hold my breath.

Do some google research on who Trump's largest campaign donors were. Hint: The NRA contributed more $ to his campaign than any single Super PAC. I think the ATF will play ball in February and it should be a good four years, which we may need if the rats take DC in 2020.

I get excited every time there is a new post to this thread because I hope that someone from Mass has gotten a stamp and the damn has begun to give way. I have only been waiting since mailing mine on July 12th.
