"I appreciate your question, sir. Once the Senator is back in the office, I'll make sure to bring this to her attention."

Again, the intern is the only person you're inconveniencing.

Their time costs them money. The interns' time is not free. Every minute they use on the phone is a minute they're not doing something else.

These people are not your representatives, they’re representing your neighbors with the LGBTQ flag on their front door. They’re representing themselves and their own cravings for power, popularity and social validation.

Don't be such a homophobe. I know quite a few people who identify with, support, or are a member of the LGTBQ community who are gun rights advocates and think this legislation is bullshit.

I'm with you on the "cravings for power" though.

Not a bad idea, but all we'd get is a form letter. We wouldn't be costing them any extra time or energy.

"Thank you for expressing your concerns. As you know, Gun Violence is a scourge on our society. We are proud that our new law will stop all that. In addition, we Worked Closely with Law-Abiding Gun Owners on a series of Listening Tours, so we're confident the concerns you express were already debated and solved."

See above.

You're not drowning anyone in stupid questions because they're not bothering to answer you. The only one regretting anything is the intern assigned to write the form letter, because she's impatient to go get lunch instead.

Call thier personal home/cell, its not hard to find the numbers.

Make em all pay at the ballot box 🤣...In all reality though over 3 million registered voters in massachusetts don't vote 🧐.

Because that was my point, dipshit.

The point was that these people are playing a virtue signaling game 24/7. It’s strictly team based politics. Reason is dead.

Bet they still vote D, because they put legalized gay sex higher on the list of issues then the 2A.

I still can't get over the insane difference between this horrible, unconstitutional, anti-gunowner bill (the worst in the country so far) and how the popular leftist media is reporting it. To those of us who have read it (or tried to read it), it is an abomination. To the popular leftist media in Boston and MA in general, it's merely a "common sense" bill to regulate ghost guns. o_O

WTF!!!

This right here is a huge problem.

We as gun owners claim to be all "freedom" and shit, but we don't actually support freedom if it's something we're not personally into. And it's worse than that: Most GLBTQ people and their allies see gun owners at a direct threat, because gun owners tend to be hypocrites when it comes to freedom. You don't even have to look hard right here on NES to find lots of really hostile language toward anyone who isn't straight, nevermind those who are trans. *OF COURSE* they see their own existence as more important than gun rights, because in their mind it's a choice between one or the other.

Imagine if we marched for gay rights with them. Imagine if we were vocal for our support for their rights to do what they want with their bodies. Imagine if they didn't associate "gun people" with "people who want to kill them". We'd probably get actual support from the rainbow crowd, rather than ... the opposite.

Before anyone says, "but I have a xxx who is yyy and he/she/they like guns" or "I'm not a bigot" or whatever, keep in mind I'm talking in generalities about large population groups, not individuals.

We all new the moon bats we’re going to shove at least 95% of the bag of shit down our throats.

They went too far with semi auto ban and eventually after more pain and suffering the shit will be overturned. We can only hope that all the crap back to 2016 decrees gets wiped.
Since they likely removed 100% of rifles and shotguns from the commercial market, that fact alone might actually force injunctive relief from even the lower courts

I love to see the votes from all republicans on MA gun laws over the past 30 years.

Sadly I know more gun owners that are Die Hard D’s all be it old Kennedy D, but still vote D
I over heard a few people talking about how there D rep would not vote for this crap.
So im still trying to figure out how this helps gun violence?
Where there any Hard Changes to punishments for Felons committing crimes with guns….or are they going to keep dropping gun charges on repeat offenders.

Sure, sounds nice and eloquently put but the reality is you can't just stand with a decent and normal Gay/Trans person, you get mixed right in with the butch woman that hate everything American and the trans that want to chop your sons dick off

It's the same type of thing with us gun owners. You got Normal gun guys like most of us then you got the extreme faggot shitbag fudds who look at us like weirdos who have PC's and AR's with PMags

Doubtful ,
The People No longer really matter in the Commonwealth.
Way back the people voted against gay marriage and said NO .
The People using Democracy where Completely ignored.

Just as 500,000 plus voting gun owners where.

Im guessing the powers to be really looked into the voting habits of legal gun owners here in MA

Maybe this will wake the Fudds up when they can’t buy the new trap gun next month or bolt action rifle because nothing is on the roster.
FUDs will shrug and fold back into their subservient non-existence without learning anything.
Why? Because freedom is scary work and most people want comfortable servitude.

Completely removing longarms from the commercial market is almost certain to receive attention from the Supreme Court if the lower courts play games with the now very clear holdings of Heller, Caetano and Bruen.

True fudds DGAF because in all the gun laws past in the past 50 years have not touched their pump action shotgun and revolvers. The last hard bitch I heard from teue FUDDs was the lead shot ban on waterfowl. No of those fudds are even Duck hunting if hunting at all.

When 8-10 years from now
Heck I thought alot of the DB Gov BS was going to be beat in court by now?

Don't confuse those that push the rainbow agenda with those under the rainbow umbrella.
Those under the umbrella want the same thing we want - to be left alone.

The ones that push are simply using a cause to gain power for themselves - the people under the umbrella are nothing more than useful pawns to them.

He's not talking about the people that the movement says it supports, he's talking about the ones that take advantage of them and will simply move one to the next best cause in order to consolidate power.

A big problem is those under the umbrella are not going to step from under it.
We have a problem is that MA is not a Democracy that they so constantly scream we are in threat of loosing .
Theres 5mil reg voters
Breaks down roughly to 1.5m D , 1/2 mil, R and 3m unenrolled
On a good day maybe 3 mil vote
Back in 2022,it was reported 14% of adults own guns in mass.
So if 500,000 licensed gun owners got on the same page we still could not fight the BS ma lawmakers want to do.
