I haven't made it through all of the amendments but the vast majority of them are stupid - from my call to Senator Pacheco (slurping it up) I couldn't get a clear answer on if the vote was only on amendments or the bill and its amendments.
My thought is they are going to toss this through as fast as possible in order to get things in line for the hard coded dates in the amendments to be able to be met.
We would be in a better position if the house bill were to pass since that is so far over the line that even the 1st Circus would need to intervene in order to keep SCOTUS from taking it up immediately.
This one will likely linger on for a few years unless something out of the 9th or 4th clears the path first.

Now says 11am...
This is akin of watching one of those "epic failures" videos on youtube but all of a sudden the crashing truck on the screen ends in your living room in real time...
It’s usually archived so you can watch it probably tomorrow. Is anyone capable of recording the entire video? I'm not set up to do that.
At least they're not doing it in the middle of the night like the 1986 Hughes Amendment.
They don’t have to do anything in the middle of the night. They have a rabid liberal supermajority, and past or current sponsors of the bill have described SCOTUS as illegitimate and they are openly ignoring past landmark decisions. They can pass any hairbrained liberal gun grab that they feel good about and the governor will sign it. IF it ever gets to SCOTUS, Biden will have already packed the court in his second term with the dems controlling both houses. Is anyone capable of recording the entire video? I'm not set up to do that.

LEO is NOT exempt in this bill.Makes their job easier. They're exempt, and everything is illegal. If you're breathing around a gun, you're a felon.
Did they just state that?LEO is NOT exempt in this bill.
LEO is NOT exempt in this bill.
Ugh, yes they are. Read the bill.LEO is NOT exempt in this bill.
The present discussion is about the eFA10 system and what's in it, which is entirely relevant to the broader discussion about the new bills. More specifically, the discussion is about what does and does not show up in said system; I continue to maintain that the database does not necessarily contain all the firearms you've ever purchased, as there are lots of perfectly legal scenarios where that would not be the case.
