Creem is an idiot… what about all the private transfers that the “edict” allowed from 2016 on or the mcx, tavor, bren sales at ffl’s that where allowed by chuckles not to mention preban rifle sales that where always ok before and after according to the edict?
The 7/20 crap is just going to make a giant convoluted mess.
Hopefully somebody gets it during the next stage and speaks up.

The more complicated all this is, the better for us.

It's completely unenforceable. Fine by me.

so move....ok
I wrote this for the common person in MA. Dealers and law enforcement are exempt. I am a dealer and a ffl in Nh. So none of this effects me for ownership.
I have not had a chance to really keep up with posted stuff and the amendments.

Where are we on “frames” as of now?
frames are as they were when it dropped. They are the gun they build so no frame transfers of off roster guns. Boom.

So is August the actual deadline when we're supposed to get rid of anything we've got?

Devils Advocate - The smart thing to do would be a straight grandfather, remove the 94 exception and make it pre (insert date passage). But they are dumb and arrogant enough to stick to the 2016 date.

I agree with the general sentiment, although I would characterize it more as zealousness than arrogance. There are some true believers in both the House and the Senate who appear to feel justified in using a Machiavellian approach. I'm glad I watched some of the proceeding today because now my somewhat innocent belief that truth is valued and we can rely on due process has been cured.

Statute of limitations for "registering" (whatever that means) is long past on anything from 2016 so this seems kind of moot anyways.
That plus, who remember the dates exactly but the transaction reporting process has changed...
But at one point it was just a letter to the FRB about the transfer occuring, an I do believe the letter of the law says that... someone might know more.

1) Letter to FRB with make/model/serial/etc.
2) PDF FA10 or the Above
3) PDF FA10
4) Serialized FA10 from PD or PDF FA10
5) Serialized FA10 or eFA10 or PDF FA10
6) Serialized FA10 or eFA10
7) eFA10 only

I know for a fact some of these have been lost in the mail, or simply not recorded into the system, or encoded wrong, hell I got a letter in the mail to redo a transfer that wasn't even mine to report!

Don't worry about it until the language is final. As of now the language is not final.
Was just curious, everyone is focusing on AR’s. I know they want this loophole closed and was in the bill.

Not pant shitting. Only a few more things I want pistol wise.

Where I get lost is with the frames. The state knew ffl's were doing frame transfers. They couldn't do anything about it because of the wording in our laws. So if the process of selling wasn't illegal and the process to buy was not at the time illegal, how can it possibly be illegal now?

Fair enough. We just really don't know yet... All of the amendments have to be worked in and then understood in context, and then the conference language has to be understood, whatever that will be... I'm interested, too.

When this goes to conference committee, do we know who those members will be?
they will be hand picked, 2 Rep. and 4 Dem.
we won't know until they choose them.
Sen. Steven Xiarhos will know once committee is chosen and let people know. I guess it does not matter, they will just pass this shit sandwich anyway. Someone said let it be as bad as they can get it and then easier to strike it down in court. I am near retirement, not sure how long court would take. I say use Constitution law to impeach these tyrants and place in custody, all of them. They work for all of us.

Glocks are on the Roster.

Are they still ok to transfer?

Also, are FFLs exempt?

"Because some moonbats want it that way. " All they have to do is change the wording of the law to make it even more insane. Don't expect /any/ rational thought behind the drafting of any Massachusetts gun law.

sent a message off to FPC, I'm sure they know or will know about this tomorrow, but the sooner they start looking at this and getting their challenge ready. The better.
Nice that you sent a message, but they wont get anything ready until the final piece of sh*t is signed. No point in wasting lawyers time reviewing stuff that is changing.

You chose to jump in in place of the person my response was intended for. You chose to deflect my question and instead answer my question with a question. You dip stick, are the one thats clearly deflecting my question. Why would I let that go and answer yours while leaving mine unanswered. Nice try though. You seem to best at calling people that you don't know degrading things but only from the safety of the cheap seats in your moms basement.
Oh my bad brother. I thought you were attacking me. I see a round of drinks on my tab, in your future. Sorry, the gin goes to my head sometimes. I sincerely apologize.
