Look, there are many time where I am truly convinced that the TDS sufferers got nothing on the NRADS sufferers. I mean, it's not just critical points but done with foam frothing from the mouth.

I'll never understand it.

I look at the NRA much as I look at gun owners in MA, if every gun owner was a member (you don't even have to send extra money) it would make them a much more formidable force nationally. Same as if every gun owner in MA was a member of GOAL and also voted in every election. We suck at "participation" and will literally cut off our nose to spite our face. There's a lot that I don't and have not liked about the NRA but I will still be a member forever.

BLAH BLAH BLAH TRUMP BLAH BLAH BLAH

Post a list of meaningful firearms reforms/court cases/legislation that the NRA has spearheaded or funded (or even been involved in, copy pasta press releases don’t count) for MA gun owners.

You apparently don’t understand more than “it.” It’s ok to be wrong also, they had me fooled for twenty years, then I did some research and found that they didn’t nothing, not a single thing, to advance my rights in this state.

They haven’t done anything for more than a decade. That’s just a fact. You are more than welcome to throw your money way so that ole Wayne can buy a few more Brooks Brothers suits and not have to sit with you in coach, that’s your prerogative. The Firearms Police Coalition and GOAL, among others, are exponentially better investments but you do you.

You need better research.....also some med adjustment might help as well.

If anyone on here has paid attention to me they are well aware of my positions on the NRA and also well aware that I have POSTED MANY ARTICLES where it clearly stated how the NRA has helped us in MA. I just don't know what to say anymore especially to a foaming at the mouth poster with 14 post in 8 years.

Having been a member for close to 45 years or so I know more than most that the NRA is not perfect, and I'll never say they are. I remain hopeful they regain their footing. I am deeply concerned that their membership is declining but ever more concerned that groups like GOA membership is static.....its a very bad sign.

I have helped the NRA and others with thousands of dollars in my life. I'm not bragging nor want any kudos for it. Just laying it out there. I can't tell you how many rabid NRA bashers have been raving at me over the years and I say OK, calm down, exactly who then gets your funds and support and they say well....nobody at the moment.

Sometimes I think about this and the apathy of it all comes close to breaking my spirit and will.

Hate to break it to you but most large companies have the right to send you for a fitness for duty exam. This isn’t limited to “physical” issues. You make a joke (which is overheard by a middle aged woke liberal women who owns five cats). She goes to HR and says that you made her “uncomfortable” and she feels “threatened.” They choose the doc, the doc asks you if you own firearms, you (understandably) tell him that it’s none of his business. Note: he is also a woke liberal and married to a different woke middle aged woman with three cats and they have a teenaged son with green hair who believes that he’s a woke middle aged woman. The doctor tells the company that you were very defensive when asked about firearms and advises the company that you are not fit for duty. Company asks the doctor to “red flag” you because they are concerned from a safety perspective. Doctor obliges as he enjoys the all cash payments for these mostly meaningless examinations and couldn’t live with himself if that mean Trump voting gun owner did anything. Loop closed. If you don’t believe this already happens then you live a sheltered life and have ZERO idea about the state of corporate America. This proposed bill makes it even more likely as everyone, except maybe the receptionist, can report you. You guys need to wake up. We cannot give ONE. MORE. INCH.
I firmly believe this is why they want to squeeze out the self employed small businesses in this country
1 instant tax collection via payroll
2 easier to intimate and force social values on people

That and Hillary has already stated that she would put MAGA Folks in concentration camps for "re-programming"

It doesn't say anything... the law assumes you're not a toddler. Let me ask you this. . Does the law tell you what to do if you got a large bag of cocaine as a gift? 🤣

If you have a gun in the banned class it becomes contraband in MA upon the enactment date of this law. (Whenever that is) It will be illegal Just like a bag of cocaine. The only difference is unlike cocaine there are 45+ something other states you can move it to and remain legal.

God you’re a giant d bag.

Vote for who? In most MA races* its "Shit vs Poop" unless you guys are talking write in campaigns for vermin Supreme or something.

There are a handful of races where there's exceptions but most of these are in non cup districts. And right now the moobats are trying to figure out how to gerrymander those seats out of existence too, because they can't deal with not having total domination.

Ever wonder why Barney Frank's old comgressional district resembles a chain of small islands that the United States captured from Japan during World War II? It's because they were doing that shit to cut the balls off of the South Coast... because there's a large swath of moderates and conservatives in that region.
You are right, your method is better than what I suggest. Why push to vote one person in at a time when we can just bitch on an internet forum and continue to watch our rights erode away. You are right though no one is better blah blah blah. Our current course of action is far more productive 👍

Nothing is more powerful than an old dude with nothing to lose.
Especially when that old dude can still put rounds in the black at 300 yards with irons, 500 yards with optics.

Really? Are there restricted LTC's in Mass anymore? You know anyone with Target and Hunting restrictions?
A rising tide lifts all boats. You have heard of Bruen I assume?

Where did you get the idea that this is what GOAL does?
Okay, what do they do? They like my money, I get email updates about issues, and I see no results in our favor. Wallace will sit there saying everything they're doing is unconstitutional, and again, how does this change anything? The lefties don't care what he says. I'm sure when the time is right GOAL hopefully uses the money to take it to the Supreme Court. Hopefully the NRA helps out.

NRA provides funds to state litigations, while initiating litigation on the federal level.

Obviously, nothing new is happening with the bill.

How do I know? Because the purses are swinging HARD these last couple pages.

I see it differently. They have the majority vote, the momentum, and are swinging for the fences for what they've wanted all along. I don't think it's virtue signaling so much as a kid with a $100 bill in a candy store.

For a variety of reasons they do not respect any recent decisions from the Supreme Court so are in part retaliating against them.
The anti's know the media and the news cycle - they know that making something illegal will be front page news and something as simple as losing a preliminary injunction will be touted as confirmation that the law is constitutional.
Therefore they have included things that cannot stand any legal scrutiny at all but will get the proper media attention to make the majority of people believe that breathing without a permit is not only illegal but also immoral and uncaring.

They are simply trying to program the masses - nothing more or less. And they will succeed in that yet again.
Look at how many here are scrambling to understand just what they need to do now to comply even before the house and senate bills are combined.

The correct thing to do is to fund the legal battle now so that a large number of very narrow cases can be filed the moment the final bill is signed

I’d like to see GOAL take a more aggressive stance. Something along the lines of “f*** you. No.” They’re not winning these party line types over with logic and reason so we might be better off instigating them into making rage-induced oversteps that get swatted in the courts.

I'm quite into accelerationism. I'm bored with this slow boil. Let's get this party started.

So the NRA cut and pasted the Herald article…thank goodness. That makes me feel better. Please stop sending those frauds your money. Donate to an organization doing something about your rights being infringed - unless or course you really want the $4 baseball cap that was made in China or the cookie cutter magazine with the same regurgitated articles every two months. “NRA Legislative Update. Another State Tramples on its citizens rights, here’s how”. Join us for a mixer at SHOT show where we can talk about the private jets we flew in on. They’re really leaving it on the field for you.
The dude literally asked for someone to post when the NRA talks about this bill, so I did, period. Nothing about sending them money, how great their baseball caps are, or if you would get a chubby reading their magazines. Not that it’s any of your business, I have donated to many pro 2A organizations for decades without your guidance or approval. Lighten up Francis.

"No, doctor, I would NEVER own guns. Those are dangerous. Only the police and military should have them. "
Thankfully there is a good chance Trump wins. Also, gun rights are in a better place than they have been in 50years (at the national level/looking at the county as a whole). It’s just the extreme blue states going the other extreme.

Also, I’m going over the summary, is there SBR stuff? I thought there was? (Apologies if this has been asked and answered already in the thread).
[rofl]"Ban the guns first. Due process after." That Trump?

Yup, I’ve heard of Bruen, Heller, Caetano, McDonald & Murdock and every single one has been totally disregarded by this state. You people really are crazy if you believe things are going great. They’re literally in the process of banning us from from carrying firearms in ANY building where “government administration occurs” (think about how broad that statement actually is) and are codifying that any town/city/municipality can enact further local restrictions. Tell me more about Bruen councilor. Listen, just keep sending them your hard earned money. A fool and their money were lucky to get together in the first place I guess…

Where is anyone advocating that things are going great? And to post that in this thread of all places.

Take a deep breath and step away from the keyboard for awhile.
