Was lucky enough to pick up this LWRC M6IC-A5 and put a couple hundred rounds down range yesterday.

And it is a beast of rifle. 7 lbs, perfectly balanced, fully ambidextrous, low recoil, and the muzzle stays on target like a boss. Extremely accurate as well. It rules the safe. [smile]

And right now LWRC has a rebate going for specified rifles, if you buy one you get an Aimpoint T1+QD mount for free. I got a great price at a local dealer who ordered it for me and when you factor in the free Aimpoint, it is a phenomenal deal. I put an H1 on there to sight it in until I get another optic.

Got the optic and mounted it. ACOG 1.5x16S - 5 ounces of pretty ****ing awesome. A very fine combination.

Spanish FR8

Picked up this sweet Spanish FR8, chambered in 7.62 Caliber (.308). Stamped Fabrica De Armas & La Coruna 1957. It came with a sling and bayonet.

Technically picked this up last week in July, but now it is complete. Tikka T3 CTR in .308. It is both my first .308 and first bolt action. Just a cheap SWFA SS 10x scope and harris bipod to finish it off. Threw my Saker on it for the pic, but I don't have any rocksett to mount the break yet. I have learned that red loctite does not work.

New coyote blaster in the house. Ruger American Ranch rifle in 5.56. Added a Nikon Prostaff BDC scope and a Vortex flash hider for dusk/dawn shooting.

It's a small purchase but when I can find a mint Chinese flat back AK mag at Kittery in the magazine bin for dirt cheap, I feel kinda lucky.

Mossberg Maverick HS12 Thunder Ranch O/U 12 gauge. This is a stock photo, but mine looks pretty much the same without cuff and with sling swivels. This was a total impulse buy. I never would have sought this out, but when I picked it up I had to have it. Lightweight, well balanced and goes to the shoulder great. Perfect for the Gunpowder Pig Firearms Festival VII Car Shoot.

I saw those when I went up. They were dirt cheap, they also had some molot 40rd rpk mags for the same price I snatched up.

Not technically new, but newly repaired so I could shoot it for the first time today. M1795 1812 Springfield, .69 caliber smooth bore. I had the main spring reforged, and a crack in the cockspur laser welded. 10 rounds standing at 50 yards; what fun! Not a bad shooter for 203 years old; barrel is 42", and about 59" overall.

I can't afford a vintage Altair 8800....
So here's a kit i put together that uses modern hardware to emulate one....

2MHz processor (emulated)
64k of RAM

This baby is front panel programmable and will run Altair BASIC, CP/M 2.2 and 3

And runs the hottest text based adventure games the early 80s had to offer!

That's pretty cool. I've been getting really serious about programming and I am always interested to learn about stuff like that.

A SIG P320 9mm compact. 15+1 I have a friend that works at SIG, so I got it half price. With the gun I also bought a 3rd mag and the total was only $379.

I also picked up a Galco 1880's cross draw holster for my Ruger Vaquero .357 mag. It's my new hiking setup.
