New Acquisitions for April 2013

An AK variant with a 1911-type grip? Never seen that before.

Probably never will again either. The guy that used to make those grips is long gone. It's machined from a solid chunk of aluminum and accepts any 1911 grips.
I bought that skeleton stock from him also. He only ever made them in the chinese pattern, but I really wanted one so I bought it and welded up the mounting holes and re-drilled to the Euro pattern.

Picked up this SR9c last night at Collectors thanks to a tip from another NES member.

I like it alot

He quoted himself. Kinda weird LOL. Yeah dude break it in first, then if you want a trigger job let me know. All it is a polish on the metal contact points which doesn't really lighten the trigger, just smooths it out. I love the SR9c trigger, best in my collection.

Got in my new Vortex Strikefire red-dot. damn good looking scope for the money, reviews were great too. Just waiting for my Matrix lower to come in to I can test this bad Larry out!!!!

It's my b-day this month and waiting for my LTC renewal.
I had the itch bad(i make it a point to buy a gun every April) and could not make it to Marlboro..so my favorite gun shop took care of me and gave me all three for 100 bucks.

Got one of my grail guns today totally on a whim. I went out to try and find ammo and came home with way more than just ammo. It is in mint shape, looks to be brand new, never fired. 1998 dated, Sterling Virginia made which is apparently sought after.

I got a Ruger 10.22, this picture is not the one I got but mine is pretty much identical except for
Mueller APV scope and lower scope rings.

I just sent the trigger out for a gunsmithing job, the factory trigger really was pretty cruddy.

Great HK. A user on here was selling a couple similar on here a few months ago and I have been thinking about them ever since.

[FONT=&quot]Picked this Ruger Standard up on Easter weekend at M&M Plimoth Bay Outfitters. Have been looking for something in the Ruger MK series and although this is a 1971 Standard, not MK1, and has been definitely used, ended up being a fine purchase at $185. Did a full tear down and cleaning (thanks youtube) and put 100 flawless rounds down range. I wish I had bought one of these sooner, lots of fun.
