Need to add a CZ 97 BD next. Need me some .45.

I've got some original Smith wood grips you could have. PM me if you are interested in an instant karma.

I received them today. You Sir are the best. I'll dress her up and take a pic and post her in her formals. Thank you so much!! It's folks like you that make this forum rock!

Purchased just before the end of June: 1896 Webley-Scott .455 WG (all numbers matching, not shaved for .45ACP thank the Lord. I added the lanyard), Winchester 1894 (1896 mfg in .32-40. Sale included die set, cast bullets and misc cartridges and a hard case. Bore is shot (pun intended), but the ol' gal sure looks cool in her very old age.), S&W 34-1 (actually my wife bought that), and a sporterized Lee Enfield (pics later of the poor bastard. Its a Mk IV so far as I can tell, with a somewhat nice but mild customized yet part original stock, but it has the charging bridge cut off and a shaved bolt handle...what was up with that...).

Pics of the other June purchase: Lee Enfield .303 Sporterized. Appears to be a Parker Hale Sporter. Charging bridge machined off, as was half the bolt ball. Bore cleaned up nice, and action still smooth.
Original stock, now reduced with a thumb groove arched on the left forestock. Have not de-coded all proof marks, but its looking like a 1941 Mk IV to start, and probably went through the FTR program to go to Parker Hale between the late 50s to early 70s. Not worth restoring with MK IV full wood due to the charging bridge gone, but appears to be a solid hunter. I'll send lead down this weekend and see how it stands up.
