New GLOCKs And H.4885: Backing Up The Truck With My AMEX - Going To The Mill - What GLOCKs Should I Get???!!! (GLOCK FANS ONLY - ALL OTHERS GTFO)

G19 Gen 5 MOS is about $625 msrp. Not $500.
True, but there is still a difference. MA dealers are not in a race to the bottom on Glock prices like they are in some free states. MSRP may be considered a fair price on a new Glock from a dealer in MA, but it's considered a high price in most of the country.

Some things are price controlled and always sold at MSRP (Surefire, Oakley and Garmin products) but Glocks are not one of them.

I’m responding to rapetile and his unrealistic pricing expectations.

Most dealers add on a premium over msrp.

Trust me, I’ve shopped around and know who to buy them from.

I’ll always pay a bit more than a free state as a thank you to those who help us. And a big no thanks to dealers who ask over msrp.

Who has Glocks at the Mill?

I’d consider going to each shop and ask.

I hear you have to wait 5 hours in line before you can ask if it’s in stock or not.

Just don’t go there with a stinky belly button.
You can just tell them your username here and part the line like Moses.

Like "Save the whales, collect the entire set".

I picked up a near new 43X MOS from a NES seller for 600. Ideal sized gun for 9mm carry in a 10 round state. Too big for pocket carry in anything short of cargo pants so I got a 43 for that years ago.
Rob,
This is what you need for the 43x:

Come on man’

G19 Gen 5 MOS is about $625 msrp. Not $500.

You have to be f***ing with us with your reply.

Dude. Up the meds.

Oh! And when shooting at a target, make sure it’s your own.

I mean I was the last guy on the line. You were second to last, yet you shot mine.

Sigh.
You have no idea how sorry I was to have shot your target that day.

I remember it very well even trying to console you and touching your shoulder as I regretted the mishap. You shoulder was very sweaty.

This was the final qualification of a 3 day Tom Givens class.
Tom Givens - Intensive Pistol Skills was the class in 2017.

It was sponsored by NEShooters (not related to NES).

I have taken dozens and dozens of classes but I'm still just an average student most of the time.

I was out of my league in this class. I shot worse than everybody other than the one female. Tom usually sets his class to the average students skills and this was not necessarily an advanced class.

It just so happens that lots of very good shooters showed up so Tom kicked it up a notch or two.

Tom runs a hot range where there is no down time to reload. He tells you to dump a box of ammo in your pocket and reload mags on the fly. I could barely keep up.

Keep in mind that I'm partially retarded on a good day. I think I'm very safe at least after taking so many classes at NEShooters, GOAL and other places. I attended all 8 Summits, as well. I think I may have been the only student to attend ALL 8 Summits.

It was tough for me to evaluate after courses of fire because I could barely have time to reload.

So, at the end of the class we had our final evaluation.

We all had one target but I recall that we were under stress. I can't remember if it was time related or physical exertion. There was a certain score on the target for perfection.

Now Chris is a very good shooter and he was trying to get a perfect score.

There was at least one of my errant shots hit Chris's target - but I knew it was a miss of the scorable part of the target and would have counted against him. The one or two shots was visible on the border.

Chris was very upset and I was mad at myself for messing up his perfect target. We all know where my shots were and he knew where his shots were so the problem was rectified and Tom know what happened.

So, Chris, I hope you accept my heart felt apology for messing up your target. I AM truly sorry.

Years ago, my heart sank when on NES, you posted your photo and I saw it and know - holy crap - that's the guy whose target I shot at.

Now, if only I can recover from the trauma of how your sweaty shoulder felt when I touched it to console you from my transgression.

Sigh.

On GB people get g19 pre ban used square notch for $250 plus tax plus fees plus shipping all day long.

Pre ban G19’s are going to be eternally banned on one day from now.

But, you are saying that I can’t charge $500 for a brand new pre ban?

Gun Parlor sells happy sticks for $700 and they sold out. The gun shows have happy sticks for $800 and they sold out every time.
Gun broker is not a cheap place to shop. Same witj arms list

Just because someone asks $500 for a mag, does not mean it will sell for that.

G19 mags will be useless except at home and in the range. Basically now a novelty. I don’t need a $500 novelty.

You can ask what you want. Just saying that’s not how you are going to sell it. Not on price. Maybe sign it? Get a pic with you, the mag and a certain lingerie model? I’d pay a few extra for that.

Wow! I’m genuinely impressed you remember and have stepped up to apologize.

Apology fully and genuinely accepted!!! I won’t mention it again.

I was 298 and a perfect score was 300. Being the actual test and not practice, it stung. Tom did credit me correctly.

We’ve been to 3 of the summits together and the Tom givens class.

Thank you again for stepping up.

Appreciate it

Hate to be that guy buy, there are glocks on the approved roster. Does that mean frame transfers and builds will still be legal?

Happy Sticks are a novelty, also.

Very much worth $800 a piece but you can't carry them.

My GF (Who is a lingerie model) and myself have though for a long time about taking classes on how to run an OnlyFans account.

We have hundreds of hours of HD video content on encrypted (4096bit) drives along with 10's of thousands of photos. We were going to use all our home made porn.

Being a porn star (as a couple) on OnlyFans could follow is for the rest of our lives. We are very proud of our beautiful porn star bodies and have the shaved look.

With our age difference we can totally fill the daddy / step daughter fetish that is all the rage right now.

Trouble is that she's afraid for her safety with stalkers. We are always armed to the teeth and have all matter of security as it is.

She reads all my posts on NES when she's not posting about Gucci products and reviewing shaving products.

She knows lots of models and other OnlyFans girls and some of these customers can be a bit shall we say - obsessive. It's a fine line. You want them to obsess over you and pay more for exclusive content but you don't want to end up murdered and raped - not necessarily in that order.

Some people on here who obsess about her are old enough to be her father - or at least as old as I am.

She calls them "Gun Creepers".

“you knew Marcus Aurelius?”

“I didn’t say I knew him, I said he touched me on the shoulder once.”

Yes. No more carrying pre bans, period.

Home (maybe) the range yes, PLUS unloaded and locked up while traveling to the range.
You intended to answer my question. Which you did. Thanks.

But then you raised another.

WHAT needs to be unloaded and locked during transport? Any "large capacity" handgun?

You can't carry it even with a 10 round mag?

Any high cap [sic] mag has to be transported unloaded and locked up. Say from your home to the range.

You can carry any Glock with a 10 or less round mag in mass.

The bill screws us for using high caps in any gun for carry.

Reptile was the one with the expensive Noveske’s.

Serious question - are the rules for carrying on-person while driving in MA (10-rd Mag) changed by this monstrosity of a bill?

Nope, as long as its under your direct control (on body) you are good to go. Only issues are what property you might be parking at, but that I cannot help you with off hand.

So pre-ban mags in an edc is verboten? I missed that part. Only carrying 10 rounders by the half dozen is gonna feel like a duty belt. Gonna need suspenders for fvcks sake.

No. They are not on the secret list.

No more frames come October
This doesn't make any sense. If a stripped frame will now be considered a firearm - serialized or not, and said firearm is on the approved roster, why would the frame transfer be illegal? Are they coming up with an entirely new large capacity firearms roster?

Glocks do not meet the consumer guidelines, the consumer guideline approved list (yes there are two lists), Mura HATES Glocks.

I know the above seems like some sort of BS. But its why Glocks are only done as frames, and while on the roster, they are not ok so sell as firearms

It can be. I bought my AUG and Hellion on gunbroker because local shops were asking for 20% more.
If you aren't panic buying during a crisis, you can do really well on GB.

Also if you are "counter buying" during a panic you can do very VERY WELL.

In 2016, when all the gun money was going into black rifles and AKs, I got a SMOKING deal on a very very FUDDY high grade double shotgun.
That market was actually soft because everyone was buying Black Guns.

Prior to a presumed Hillary win, many shops and distributors stocked up anticipating a huge run after the election.
When trump won, demand cratered. There were then super deals to be had on everything, ESPECIALLY black rifles and other panic related items, as dealers tried to dump stock.

It was so bad that one of the country's largest firearms distributors, Ellet Brothers/Jerry's Sports Center actually went bankrupt because of it.

In 2008, when the Obama panic buying was going on, I absolutely STOLE a one-off Performance Center S&W 610 Revolver.
