Come on man’
G19 Gen 5 MOS is about $625 msrp. Not $500.
You have to be f***ing with us with your reply.
Dude. Up the meds.
Oh! And when shooting at a target, make sure it’s your own.
I mean I was the last guy on the line. You were second to last, yet you shot mine.
Sigh.
You have no idea how sorry I was to have shot your target that day.
I remember it very well even trying to console you and touching your shoulder as I regretted the mishap. You shoulder was very sweaty.
This was the final qualification of a 3 day Tom Givens class.
Tom Givens - Intensive Pistol Skills was the class in 2017.
It was sponsored by NEShooters (not related to NES).
I have taken dozens and dozens of classes but I'm still just an average student most of the time.
I was out of my league in this class. I shot worse than everybody other than the one female. Tom usually sets his class to the average students skills and this was not necessarily an advanced class.
It just so happens that lots of very good shooters showed up so Tom kicked it up a notch or two.
Tom runs a hot range where there is no down time to reload. He tells you to dump a box of ammo in your pocket and reload mags on the fly. I could barely keep up.
Keep in mind that I'm partially retarded on a good day. I think I'm very safe at least after taking so many classes at NEShooters, GOAL and other places. I attended all 8 Summits, as well. I think I may have been the only student to attend ALL 8 Summits.
It was tough for me to evaluate after courses of fire because I could barely have time to reload.
So, at the end of the class we had our final evaluation.
We all had one target but I recall that we were under stress. I can't remember if it was time related or physical exertion. There was a certain score on the target for perfection.
Now Chris is a very good shooter and he was trying to get a perfect score.
There was at least one of my errant shots hit Chris's target - but I knew it was a miss of the scorable part of the target and would have counted against him. The one or two shots was visible on the border.
Chris was very upset and I was mad at myself for messing up his perfect target. We all know where my shots were and he knew where his shots were so the problem was rectified and Tom know what happened.
So, Chris, I hope you accept my heart felt apology for messing up your target. I AM truly sorry.
Years ago, my heart sank when on NES, you posted your photo and I saw it and know - holy crap - that's the guy whose target I shot at.
Now, if only I can recover from the trauma of how your sweaty shoulder felt when I touched it to console you from my transgression.
Sigh.
