New GLOCKs And H.4885: Backing Up The Truck With My AMEX - Going To The Mill - What GLOCKs Should I Get???!!! (GLOCK FANS ONLY - ALL OTHERS GTFO)

No real change except for the big one - That sales of a Glock frame sans slide allowed us to get around the Consumer Safety laws that prevented Glocks from being sold even though they are technically on the roster. The "frame game" is no more in 80-something days, which means that Glocks will be had only through FTF until this is resolved.
I'm not so sure that the law affects Glock sales at all for on roster models. The Law will kill off roster frame transfers, that's true. But since many Glock models are on the approved roster, I don't currently see any change that prevents them from being sold with frame transfers.

Hmmmm. Interesting take on this.

Very interesting! I can see why that could happen. Thanks for your perspective.

Wishful thinking. Im thinking no.

Glocks were always on list. However unless this law kills the consumer law where dealers cant sell them, it will be no glock sales.

Dealers that sell them will get shut down selling them, and fined by the AG. As has been done to many dealers already that were openly selling whole pistols to non leo.

The work around was the frame law. That is gone in October.

Realistically the only thing that made glocks appealing here was pre ban standard mags.
For carry those are going to be illegal.

My free state carry is a mossy m2c. Its same size as g48 with 16 rounds, night sights for half the price.

Glocks are overrated and expensive as compared to whats out there now.
