I see this a lot around here. "It's a gun store, toughen up, be a man blah blah blah" spare me the macho crap. I dont care if it's a gun store or not, when I am a paying customer anywhere I expect to be treated accordingly. FWIW I posted on this thread before and I'll say it again. I had a problem/miscommunication with a salesperson at North Shore once. I called Mike SR the next day, explained the situation and he took care of everything no problem whatsoever. Since you brought them up Collectors IMO has good prices but their customer service/attitude are not very good.

Yeah I don't care about cluttering on a gun shop's thread. They ****ed up big time. They should learn what thought police is before doing it again. Just bullshit.
I've been there several times and I never had an issue. Everyone always treated me right. Gary is my go to guy, very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Got nothing but good things to say about this store.

Just became aware of NSF alerting the police to someone that called their store asking about 30 round mags and the such. I may be late to the party on this but was in the Lowell Sun this morning. Does this concern anyone?

It concerns a lot of people, and I hope NSF goes bankrupt because of it.
NSF is claiming more to the story, but from the details provided it sounds like someone screwed up and potentially allowed what they felt was a straw purchase and to cover their asses sent the ATF to a 24yr olds house.

I've been in the store, never made a purchase...This "trouble maker" won't be back as requested.

That's damn funny. I was in the area the other day and finally made it in to collectors to check it out. I spend at least 20-30 minutes checking out every inch of the place. Lots of nice revolvers and pistols to drool over, but it was like i wasn't there.
I suppose I could bitch about high pressure sales and i wasn't turned off at all to the place. Just odd that the guys in there, clearly not busy, couldn't muster up a welcome or would you like to look at that gp100 or that 686?

I am not familiar wit this store but the mere fact that they mention NES in the same sentence about them being reviewed by the ATF makes me want to stay away and seems a bit childish. Maybe I can get a good chuckle reading the other 68 pages of this post and figure out why NES is held in such high regard by them.
Yeah exactly. I found that comment in extremely bad taste. Not like I planned on going to their BATFE magnet of a store anyways.
