Target Sports Delivering Again - Megathread

How much ammo do I personally realistically need in a world war though. If at mininum I have enough 'extra' stored to fill all my mags twice over, is that enough?
I work with a Bosnian guy who lived through the war back in the 90s. Long story short he claimed he needed an AK, like 6 mags and 1 tuna can

Looks like Target Sports new brass case republic 7.62x39 is to be released on the 29th
If that is boxer primed that is prime for reloading and makes it an even better deal. with the loss of Russian steel case coming into the American market this stuff is competitively prices compared to what is available for steel case these days. 5-10c spread per round for the most part for brass over steel aint too shabby. I have never fired brass x39 as steel was always so cheap. when my stash of x39 begins to dwindle I may have to consider dies for x39 as the availability of brass case is only rising.

I suspect prices will only go up once New Republic gains market share and can stop their discounted pricing. It is a pretty decent deal for reloadable ammo, indeed. I'm not convenient to their store, so pick up isn't worthwhile. Simply buy a case, if you aren't a prime member.

FWIW, the typical 123gr jacketed bullets are hard to find for less than 30¢. primers at 8¢ or more and you're almost at 50¢.

Yeah the thought of reloading x39 gives me a headache. Not worth it unless you have the time to cast bullets

It doesn't make tremendous sense when ammo prices are low, but I tend to use Sinterfire frangibles, sabots and Inceptor SRR bullets, so it is practical for me.
I do agree, it's much simpler shooting surplus and not feeling the need to chase down your empties.

Anyone contact CMP recently for reasons behind the e-cmp website being down and if anyone has tried orders over the phone?

Another question after looking at some forgotten stash.

What is your feedback for that Scorpio 124gr 9mm?

CMP match 75gr 5.56 and 75gr .223?

Know the reason why a glock 19 slide wouldn't go fully forward/lock in place? Hard to rack, hard to slam the slide forward? Cleaned it, changed out the RSA. Still happened, so far 5-6 times within 1-2 cases of Scorpio 9mm.
