The Conference Committee has sent official language out - h.4885

Stop worrying so much.

If you are sh*thing your pants, go ahead and sell your stuff today.

If you are not sh*thing your pants, keep living life the way you were before the first bill was announced.

Not shitting my pants, just curious. For a guy complaining about diarrhea on the other thread you seem kinda fixated on pant shitting. [laugh]

Still waiting for the dust to settle on this POS but there must be thousands of AR's and AK's that have been purchased and FA-10'd in this state after July 20 2016. I was at the Mill last fall and there were a ton of lowers and uppers being purchased. What happens to them? Is New Hampshire going to be swamped with used Mass AR's? My buddy registered a complete lower he was working on the day Healy had that press conference. So he registered on July 20 2016, not prior. He's a felon now?

Using the "leaked" data of eFA10 transaction and FFL sales I ran a couple of rough queries. I arrived at a figure of approximately 2500. Number seems low to me however if you take into account the number of NES type educated people I expect there were a lot more that were not put in the system. The other factor that caused a low number is I limited my queries to 556 only. No 223, 300 Blackout, AKs. etc. Also I have no data after 21.

This.

The pant shitting is unreal around here.

"Zomg muh gun might become iweeegul ooooly oooly oooly ohh!" Really? We're getting the soft end of the stick. There's a ton of others in this mix (dealers, large and small!) who will face actual adversity from this. People will lose jobs and livelihoods over this. .. while a bunch of other chumps have quivering buttholes about black vans that are never coming.

IIRC there were over 2000 guns in the "healey window" alone. At the time she had even sent out a strongly worded letter whining about it a day later which was pretty comical because basically most of that week people just kept selling AR/ak etc.

If that's the case then the data dump is actually incomplete or woefully inadequate it's probably missing a zero at least.

I filtered out all pre 7/20/16.

What I find unreal is that people are surprised by this whole thing honestly

This bitch gave everyone a 8 year heads up that if she ever became governor that this was going to happen

Then she gets governor and still gave everyone plenty of time to square their shit away.

Healey sucks, but this is much more elemental than her. Institutionally this has been a problem since 1998. This kind of "abuse" is not new. There's not a single moonbat state that doesn't have some kind of shitty gun control in it.

Should have queried "Multi" for the caliber. That would net you a f*** ton more results.

Hopefully, no one is really surprised. Upset, maybe. Pissed off too. Unhappy for sure. But surprised? Not unless they have been living in a cave. :(

Found this interesting and I haven’t seen it mentioned here (pasted from the caucus summary):

Registration, Reporting & Tracing
Updates existing firearm reporting system into one state database for firearm registration, reporting and tracing maintained by the Department of Criminal Justice Information Services. Requires registration of firearms not appearing on existing transfer portal. Requires law enforcement to immediately report crime gun data to the state database which will automatically populate the Federal ATF system for interstate tracing purposes. Includes surrendered firearms in law enforcement reporting requirements.

According to this, if you FA10ed your firearms prior to 8/1 then they’re considered registered and satisfies the proposed law.

Can someone tell us what to buy, when to buy it, and how much to buy before it’s too late? Do we focus on Glock magazines and Noveske lowers? Or branch out?
Whatever you can. Now.

Unless youve been paying attention and already have everything you want.

Ps please don’t hurt me.

Except that a fair number of FA10s were lost, or rejected, even when the seller (or buyer if it was a build or out-of-state gun) properly filled in the FA10 and mailed it like they were required to.

Does this just mean that the carbon copy of an FA10 from when they were paper is sufficient?

Legally, it should, as you did everything you could to follow the law for reporting of the transaction, and the state f***ed it up.

Looks like no selling of ammo unless your are a dealer (licensed refers to dealer in this section):

"(e) Whoever not being licensed, as provided in section 122 or this section, sells ammunition within the commonwealth shall be punished by a fine of not less than $500 nor more than $1,000 dollars or by imprisonment for not less than 6 months nor more than 2 years."
Soooo, this means private clubs who sell ammo to be used on their ranges now either need to be licenses FFLs or stop doing so? What a PITA.

I would say so, yes.
