Trail camera thread. Post ur trail camera photos.

Fiskars has a good reputation. I’m surprised it was so dull.

I have a feeling it was sort of meant to be dull/blunt force type cutting.

I wanted it to be a combo of a machete sharp with the force of a sharp axe.

That and I bought it from Walmart so maybe it is the dummies version of Fiskars stuff. 🙃

Different moose and on the other side of the property.

Looks like a cow. Maybe the bull from the east side will meet the cow from the west side and they can live happily ever after while creating a long line of moose calves year after year.

Edit to add a pic from this afternoon of the bull on the other side, coming up the trail and then about to wander out onto my driveway.

From the Ring last night. I have a couple of these little Grays running around. Last summer, they would come almost all the way across the yard before noticing me and taking off.

Raw venison on both sides of my property. Yes, my camera numbering system is jacked up. sue me. 🙃

Moose is still on the loose. Blurry bull.

FINALLY! The very first full picture of one of these guys. They're ridiculously camera shy for some reason. Dude will probably be chewing on my deck as soon as the house is built and might have to go.

Put out a trail cam in a new spot today. Got multiple pics a few minutes ago. First one was the deer coming in at the bottom left. Second pic had me do a double take. The way the small tree lines up with its tail made me think there was a freaking kangaroo bouncing around out there!

Was at camp last weekend for the first time in a couple weeks. Lots of tire tracks on the private drive so I relocated a camera to the driveway.

Yeah, that's the hard part about not being on site. I have one of my cameras that looks at my driveway, but only from the side. When the build really starts, I'll likely position something that will capture plates, and also put up one of those stupid video surveillance signs. Obviously coordinating with my builder so he is tracking.

Most of the folks I see in the camera are obviously associated with my builder or his subs either doing work or checking the site to see what kind of equipment they need. I caught what I hope was the assessor out there yesterday with a long tape measure. I dropped off the packet to take a portion out of current use back at the end of march and haven't gotten billed yet.

These folks probably aren't associated with my builder, but spent less than a couple minutes on site. They are either looking to pilfer(and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they weren't), or general curious locals just seeing what is going on. Growing up in a small town, we did the latter with new construction.

This camera is about 100' from the street and maybe 120ish' from the place where the house will go.

Almost forgot my other Bear encounter this weekend.
The detail is amazing, chain sawn then burnt.
My wife said get'em both, see yellow arrows.

So I found another one of these guys on US 3 in Thornton. I didn't get the number, but I think it was 2569. Just north of where 3 goes under 93 and on the left. I didn't stop in, but keeping him in mind for when the house gets done. Need a wooden porch bear.

Crappy pic, but I was stopped in the middle of the road and pulling a trailer, so i didn't go in.

*I've been taking 3 between exits 25 and the Notch to save gas/not deal with highway idiots. No extra miles, only adds about 10-15 minutes, and you can people watch as you go through Woodstock.

So I got this off my Blink camera. It’s actually a video of a doe touching her nose to the electric fence that guards the Canada geese from coming onto my lawn. I do feel kinda bad but we never had deer on the lawn before. I’m not sure how to post the video as she jumped about 5’ into the air and took off

lol, jumped sky high.

BTW, your doe has antlers coming in. ;)

but that's OK if she identifies as a doe. We must encourage it and ask her proper pronouns.🙃

Yesterday I changed out a Reveal X I had deployed with a Bushnell Cellucore 20. Wasn't really getting the amount of pics I thought I would be getting in the area, and the ones I did get were of nothing but the woods. Wasn't too thrilled to find out the Reveal X only sends the second picture of whatever shot burst you have it set for. Read the SD card and it confirmed much more activity than the pics would make you think. Anyway, the Cellucore 20 didn't let me down. Had 12 pics of deer today from three different timeframes.
