What did you do in the reloading room recently?

Been doing nothing in the reloading room for over a week. Been helping a friend move......every night after work......with a Toyota tacoma. He's too cheep to actually rent a moving truck at uhaul and do it in 1 maybe 2 trips. I told him that.....to his face.....he just laughed like I was joking.....then we loaded another dresser in my tiny ass truck. 😐

It's stuff like that which would lead me to severe frustration

That's good. That small primer stuff is a pain in the ass. Whoever thought it up should be flogged to death.
I agree with you but only because I have more than enough to keep a good rotation.

There are some guys over the years on CastBoolits that have specifically requested the small primer stuff. They said it allowed them to keep one type on hand. Once large primers were hard to get their hands on they look like geniuses.

I used to throw the stuff away, but now I’ve put it to the side just in case somebody wants some. I’ll give it to them.

Bought 500 pieces of .38 spl brass from Xtreme Bullets recently (needed more brass) , for some damn reason these things require me to use force when coming out of the powder drop die. I measured and compared to other brass I have , and they seem to be the same dimensions. I also ran a couple of pieces of other brass through the die and it's smooth as silk. Does anyone have any input?

Not sure what's causing that...but just as an aside, I have started using a spritz of lanolin/iso or One-Shot to the cases I'm sizing. Makes for a lot less effort to size them. ;)

I wouldn't care if it was easier to sort out.
If I could swap out all if my pistol brass to SP, I'd do it in a heartbeat but that's not realistic so I'll continue to hate on SP 45 brass.

Brand new brass? Sounds crazy but put them in the tumbler with some used media. Get that dust on there

I’ve heard of new brass just being too clean and galling on the power funnel.

I've lubed them and it hasn't made a difference, I'm not even going to bother trying to load any more of them. I sent an email to Xtreme about the issue , so I'll wait and see what their response is. I don't care if they replace them or not , I'm not the type.of person who makes a big stink about shit ,.but I definitely will not buy any of their brass again.
