What did you do to your firearm today.

Put the original forend back on my Tavor SAR and put on the FAB Defense Bipod...

Took photos of the Nickel Boron chipping of the bolt face of my Crusader to send to Spikes customer service. Less than 200 rounds I'm not exactly thrilled and CS seems like they are going to be a pain in the ass.

Did my first stippling on some vertec grips I had laying around. Then decided to throw them on the 92A1. And let me tell you, the grip feels great! Now I need to find time to take it to the range. I also put on a skeleton hammer.

Yesterday, a few rounds worth on my Ruger SP-101 .38 (trying out the Remington +P Golden Sabers), a few dozen regular .38 Sp rounds through the Colt Trooper Mk III and then a box of 9's through my Browning Hi-Power....and just watch the day breeze by.

Got a 1911 care package from Brownells today. Installed a Smith and Alexander slim magwell and mainspring housing, Magpul TSP grips and Trijicon HD night sights. Gonna try out the Brownells 1911 mags too.

Despite the light rain/mist today I made a trip out to the range. The dreary day kept the range from being over run on a Saturday morning. I was by myself for the first hour except for the 4 or 5 chipmunks that ran back and forth along and behind the benches... shot both of my 22lr pistols at 15 and 25 yards. I'd say I easily put 200+rnds down range. ... had a great morning. The group that showed up as I was getting ready to wrap it up had a couple in it. The guys wife was not hesitant to give it a go trying to shoot all the guns that the guys brought, but she had an awful flinch shooting the big boomers. I offered her a chance to shoot my 22/45 LITE, which she did. Her reponce? "Wow I like this" as she nailed the target on center. Apparently she has a 22 at home that is similar according to her husband... which he didn't bring... I think if he were smart he will be getting it out and getting it ready for her next trip to the range.

Zeroed my Troy battle sights. Took awhile using a bullet tip and a DIY push pin tool. Small world... Guy on the next bench was also trying to do the same with his Troy battle sights. Helped him as well using the most ineffective tools possible. After all that monkey business, we both found a front sight adjustment tool in our respective range bags. What a bunch of idiots!!!

got Talon rubber grips for my new XDM 3.8 .45 and ordered another 9 round mag and 2 pinky extensions, one +1 and just an extension.
Love shooting this bad boy :)

G19 Gen4. Zev stainless dimpled match barrel, Zev trigger assembly, Zev Titanium pins/internals. Stainless extended slide lock. Glock OEM extended slide release. Vortex Venom mounted on a Dueck Defense RBU. And a comical, if applicable bible verse on the rear slide plate.

right now I have my girls here with me and we are practicing AR-15 drills. They are identifying the parts of the rifle and practicing loading an unloading with an empty mag while blind folded. They don't teach you that in middle school...lmao...

ok....that was a fun competition for them. Now that the rifle is back in the safe they are loading and unloading magazines...

What a way to spend a Friday....lol

I guess I'm lucky. I've never had more than a few other people there when I go. As a new guy it's still weird to me when I'm alone.

Unless there is a class there, it's never crowded. I was hoping to scratch up 2 other people but one was busy and the other (GPP) never seems to read his Email and respond. [wink]

I'll be back there on Monday morning as I have legal papers to serve 2 miles down the road from the club and no sense to waste an opportunity.

Acquiring gear and an ambi-safety to make my Kimber Target-II usable by my wife for IDPA/USPSA. I'm right-handed, she's left-handed, and my gun belt is just a skosh too large for her...

Everything came in today - IDPA belt, holster and magholders from BladeTech; 10 round mags from Tripp; and the ambi-safety from Kimber.

Waiting for parts for my first AR. Got the DPMS LPK from the group buy, picked up a lower locally, got a stock and buffer kit on its way. Only 75% of the rifle to go [thinking]

Went to the range with my brother, let him use my .308 Mossberg MVP with the Surefire brake for the first time. He was very impressed with it. The rifle is pretty much a point and shoot with very easy follow up shots.

Also managed to order the last of my AR parts needed for my build. Syrac Adj. Gas block and stainless gas tube. Now to find someone to help me install the barrel.

Lucky me. I love it

It's was a joke btw .... Thought it didn't look half bad.
