What do you have for a cleaning kit?

I use a bunch of Hoppes kits my dad handed down to me and a M-Pro7 kit I bought. I really like the M-Pro7 grease.

I'm still using the cleaning kit I borrowed when I was discharged in 1973.

Along with the mess kit and entrenching tool that you also "borrowed"? Jack.

I have some much stuff for each gun, it's hard to pinpoint, I like stuff.

I have a desk drawer full of cleaning crap but 95% of it can be done with hoppes, a jag, a brush, q tips, a few patches and a rag or two. The drawer is full because I own quite a few calibers both rifle and pistol plus 3 different shotgun gauges so I accumulate many jag and brush sizes.

I have a ton of cleaning crap from over the years. Most all in a cheap plastic tool box.

Mostly I use a good coated rod with a cotton mop. Tons of Q tips and paper towels. Oh and a needle Oiler to hit the tight spots/lube the rails.

Still have my cheap orange box hoppes kit from the 80’s.

Probably as important as your kit is the space for it. A table that is used as a permanent gun service station makes everything way easier. Mine also is used for servicing fishing reels
