I'm running this poll for a friend. He has hundreds of very nice guns. Since the new registry - like the current eFA10 system - will be public - everybody can be identified. Some of his frames are not eFA10'd and he has other goodies, too.

Would you rather register before 8/1/2024 or not at all?

Keep in mind, if you do register - you'll be targeted for theft. Everybody will know what you have. Family, friends, neighbors, employers, co-workers, and enemies.

You and your family and children will be harassed, robbed, or even killed in a home invasion.

Poll is anonymous.

It is safe to assume that any database that is accessible from the internet and is managed by the state will get eventually hacked. The salary for the CISO for the state of MA is listed at roughly $130k. For that kind of money you cannot attract decent cybersecurity engineering folks let alone a leader so the writing is on the wall.

Even if that happens nothing will happen. FFLs have a shitload of guns. (and many are publicly exposed already) I don't see them getting invaded. Probably because the bad guys don't like those odds. Would you harass someone who was known to be armed, and has nearly a 100% carry rate?

The premise of your poll is retarded. People who decide to not register are doing so because they don't want to give the state excuses and they're pissed at all of this. Also, I would not be shocked if the state decides to merge the existing pile of garbage into that database. So getting cute likely does nothing.

Definitely, heck, I’ve already registered both of my guns. I can’t think of any reason why you shouldn’t.
I have 3 guns registered and the were on the data leak from the eFA10 database.

I'm not a big target and I sold 2 of those guns and only have one left, now.

Besides my friend, there are guys on NES who have big money collections that may not be registered.

Those folks may wish to fly under the radar to avoid home invasions, loss of jobs, loss of family and friends and keep their families alive.

In a SHTF situation - those folks with big collections will be huge targets for murder in a lawless society.

Just put a gun to his child's head and see how fast that safe dial will spin open.

A fire team of 5 men can easily overtake any homeowner in a home invasion.

Maybe even a bigger haul than a gun store.

At least they can choose who to rob and know ahead of time what they have.
