Okay, so I've been in here twice.
The first time, I went in looking for a specific AR and a youngish guy, mid 30's maybe, black hair, wearing kind of a bowling shirt, helped me out. Great guy. He talked to me about what I was looking for, showed me a few things in my price range and we talked about ordering a specific AR but wound up not doing it yet. Overall it was a really good experience.
The second time I went in hoping to order the same AR and I started to walk over to the bowling shirt guy and an older heavier guy, with what I think was a Russian accent, asked if he could help as I walked by him. I told him I wanted to order an AR, and he kept telling me it would take months to get it, and that the item I wanted didn't exist even though I've been checking it out for months and had talked to the other guy about ordering it (yes they have a Ma version), and just kept trying to sell me guns on the shelf that I kept telling him I didn't want.
So I gave up on that.
I also wanted some basic gunsmithing done, I wanted a barrel threaded for a muzzle break and a new buffer tube and stock put on an AR and pinned. I told him what brand of rifle it was and he said it was a POS and that they won't even touch it, followed by, "I hope you didn't spend over $700 for that" which of course I did, since it's a $1,000 gun, even at FS where I got it for the cheapest price around. I told him yeah, I did spend more than that, and that was about the end of the conversation. We were pleasant to each other the whole time BTW, neither of us was rude, angry etc.
So in a nutshell, I walked in there and tried as hard as I could to spend about $1,800 and the guy drove every cent of that business right out the door.
Maybe I'll go back someday, Maybe not.
