AR-15 thread... I'll show you mine if you show me yours.

Quick picture after the range trip this morning, first time out with the 18" rifle since I finished the build a couple weeks ago. It shot very well once I got the scope zero'd, the White Oak Barrel definitely lives up to the reputation!

I did have 2 rounds that failed to feed, the round seemed to have gotten stuck as the case mouth was a little rolled over. Not sure if it was the pre-ban mags (hadn't used them before so they may have feeding issues), Ultramax ammo, or too much of the Hoppe's oil used to lube everything up.

Seen with my S&W M&P15-22, just got the MagPul AFG and rail covers today as well.

I've got a Surefire MB556K muzzle brake/adapter that's going on after this weekend's Appleseed shoot in Chaplin, CT.

Also considering replacing my current ambi selector with a BAD-ASS selector in the near future and getting a Redi-Mag (Gen 2) / Redi-Mod before attending the REDBACK One Tactical Carbine class in Meriden in July. Rock & Roll!

Turbo, nice looking rifle. Is than ACOG or a clone? Do you see a big shadow/distortion with the FSB or no?

It's the Barska knockoff... I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet (hopefully this week), but it's supposed to be capable of at least 2 MOA at 100yds. I'll post an update when I get to shoot it.

Always showing off the best of the best, in great numbers! With all these toys, all I can think of is:

Man, you gotta be at the TOP of the detail list, and pull doubles/details all the time for this shit. [laugh]

No, not on the top of the detail list but you being a pass/present 3P0X1 must know what the deployment tempo has been like for a Security Forces Airman over the last 10 years. I've saved a lot of money from my tours overseas and I'm investing it in firepower and lead seeming it's collecting sh*t in the bank.

Whats the specs on the FDE SBR?

Nice sticks btw!!!!

It's an 11.5" Daniel Defense lightweight CHF barrel, Magpul CTR stock, Magpul ASAP, Magpul MOE grip, Magpul AFG2, Magpul BAD, Magpul MBUS, Magpul PMAG, Aimpoint T1 w/LaRue tall mount, SureFire Scout flashlight w/Gear Sector off set mount, Laser Device DBAL-A2, Knights Armament URX, Knights Armament trigger guard, Knights Armament Triple Tap, Fail Zero EXO BCG, and a Flat Dark Earth Cerakote by Business End Customs.

I just got back from sighting it in. I was shooting tight groups of at least 2 MOA at 100yds, but I'm sure it's capable of better since I was shooting bench rest holding the rifle without a sandbag or stand.

So far I'm very pleased with the scope.
