Bass pro tracking ammo now

1. I never carry a balance. In over 20 years I haven't paid interest to a CC once.

2. I can't pay my mortgage with a CC, I tried.

None of what you mentioned has anything to do with what I posted. So let me give you an example:
Shop A has a sight for $300. Best price I can find.
A**Pro has the same sight for $400.

If I have $200 in points, I will not waste them on a $400 sight so it can be $100 cheaper than Shop A, because f*ck A** Pro.

I did use club points on a rifle because it was a little cheaper tham anywhere else, so I saved a little over $400.

But I also use other cards that give me money and even allow me to use it toward a balance, which I find more useful than the A** Pro card.
Cabelas will price match just about anyone. I never checkout at Cabelas before using my phone to see if a competitor has it cheaper. If it is, I go to the service desk and they have price matched the item 100% of the time.

yep.. not many people know about that... not easily found on their website.

5. Qualifying Websites: If your comparison is to a product offered for sale online, that must be on a website operated either:
(A) by one of the following online retailers: Academy, Amazon (excluding items sold by a 3rd party, via Amazon), Backcountry, Brownells, Cheaper Than Dirt, Dick's Sporting Goods, Field & Stream, L.L. Bean, Mack's Prairie Wings, Midway USA, Optics Planet, REI, Scheels, Sportsman's Warehouse, Tackle Warehouse, or Walmart (excluding items sold by a 3rd party, via Walmart);
7. We reserve the right to limit the quantity that may be purchased at the lower price to 2 per customer, per day (except where prohibited by law).

8. We will not match any of the following competitor pricing:
(a) flash sales or hot buys;
Websites that are higher priced than others and Assbela's is probably going to dick slap you with the quantity limit.

Even online ammo shops that are severely discounted because they screw you on excessive shipping fees?

Does anyone bitching in this thread realize that targetsportsusa also gathers the exact same info other than occupation? Any online retailer that requires a copy of your LTC has collected the same info as asspro, minus the gay form of course.

Edit..I’m not condoning the behavior, just pointing out the double standard

I trust my address in a TSUSA database more than I trust my information on a piece of paper that any monkey can access.

… but they’re not subject to MA police inspections. The new law is requiring businesses to record all this information and to present it to police inspectors, I believe once a year.

Maybe someday TSUSA will start giving their info to Healey and her cronies, but now local stores for certain will, by law.

Then the credit-card-points-so-it’s-free people come out.

yet nobody has proven that it's not free.. the one guy @Bodhisattva had the best argument, that it was my interest paying for the free ammo, but I don't pay interest as I pay my card in full monthly.. so those paying interest on their Cap 1 card are providing me ammo on their dime, or maybe there's some other arrangement where the box store eats the cost of the product, but it's not me..

@Broc Tuah made the argument that it's cheaper elsewhere.. That may be true, but it's still coming out of your $$, not the retailers. He even made the example that he'd rather spend $200 out of pocket than $100 out of pocket +$200 in points for the exact same item. I can understand that, if your maybe saving the points for something larger.. Otherwise, I don't get how that's saving you any money..

Others just don't like the big chain store vibe.. I get and respect that.. you do you and I do me. No judgement there.. but don't argue your hatred for the big box store against points being free credit..

then there's this kind of comment.. derogatory, with no substance... void of thought, idea, opinion or anything of value related to the topic.. yet annoyed at my opinion, but doesn't offer a counter.. just a waste of bytes online.. Glad I could annoy you enough for you to take the time to share.

but to the OP.. I'll not be getting my free ammo at BPS in MA any longer as I refuse to fill out that stupid form. Maybe I'll just make an annual stop at BPS in Hooksett and use whatever points I have on free ammo.

If you are spending enough $$ to get a good amount of points, you are better off getting a different CC that gives you more money back and can be spent anywhere.

You can still get your "free" ammo, but will accumulate money faster = more "free" ammo.

There’s a 3% plus fee that you are taking from the vendor and giving to an anti-2A big bank. And while I’m not going to shed a tear over BP having to pay that fee, it results in higher prices getting passed on to consumers.

If you don’t care you don’t care.

BP (their parent, Cabela's) is paying 1.5%, maybe 2% at most. They don't give a discount for paying cash because frankly they'd prefer you to use a CC, as cash handling also has a cost.

At my LGS, I always as for their best cash price -- if Jim can come close to what I'm getting kicked back in points, I'll pay with dead trees.

That’s cool I guess. I’m not a price shopper so it’s tough for me to wrap my head around; and while my principles are for sale like anyone else’s, it’s for more than a couple of percent cash back on some ammo.
