Hard to imagine a time not all that long ago when (1) ads could claim that cigarettes were actually GOOD for you, and (2) you could assume that participation in the shooting sports would be seen as positive by a wide audience. Times sure change, sometimes for the better sometimes worse, respectively.

I remember a movie with John Wayne, something about him being a coach (not a big fan of his movies where he isn't fighting the Japs, or battling black hatted cowboys, though I am a huge fan). He offered a lady a cigarette, and she mentioned it was a Camel. He then replied, "The choice of doctors", or words to that effect. Struck me as funny.
Wish I remember the name of the movie...

Man do I want a cigarette or a stogie now. It will be 11 years in September since I quit smoking butts and close to two years since I quit the cigars. I sure miss cigars at the Range when the black flies are out.

smoked non filter camels for 25 years, why hell i'd cough on a filter cigarette.

at the height of my smoking career i was doing 2.5 packs a day.

nothing beats a camel.

quit those and all tobacco in 95 cold.

can't stand to be around them, but i don't preach, just leave.
