She’s gonna do it. Then the next one she’s gonna f*** you even more. You think this is as bad as it gets? In a few years they’re gonna give you something even worse, and you’ll be wishing you could go back to this. Don’t think so? Right now you’re probably wishing you could go back to the way it was before this. And that was actually pretty damn bad. But in a little while once this really sinks in, you’d probably give up half your shit to go back to that.

You are the last person that can comment on what others charge. Some dealers at the Mill were selling Anderson Lowers for $300 each.
They paid $25 each.
After making such a killing I guess they wont mind off loading the rest on Gun Broker.

Yet when a possibility turns into reality- it means times, they’re changing. It's not rocket science. They knew a long time ago, before frame transfers were even a common thing. Long before Healey and even Coakley. They just knew that realistically they couldn't do anything about them back then because it was a lot more difficult to get gigantic anti bills through.
In past years these kinds of bills frequently died in committee. Also remember they had plenty of rats too, like Ted Oven and others. They knew. We knew that they knew (because of moles we had in the AGs office at different times). None of this is new stuff. People have been literally talking about this possibility since before 2016 even.
When you have your own shop under immediate threat of closure (essentially) would you feel the same way?But - assuming she does sign - will the petition end up having been a waste of effort and resources that only got us -3 weeks of buying in the end? What good will have come of it? I guess maybe her preamble move will weigh in our favor somehow, in some future litigation, but short of that it’s tough to see a benefit to all of it.
Bruen did this. Things were tolerable in Mass until that passed. Then Maura and her soy boy buddies threw a hissy fit, and decided to pay that back. She’s gonna do it. Then the next one she’s gonna f*** you even more. You think this is as bad as it gets? In a few years they’re gonna give you something even worse, and you’ll be wishing you could go back to this. I was more referring to ignoring all the signatures. The average person in this state doesn’t know the difference. Thanks to the media most average citizens think the “assault style firearms” are machine guns. I’d love to find a way to educate people but sadly most just don’t care. If people don’t have a direct interest in something they just don’t care. Look at all the fudds for years that have only cared about their hunting style rifles.Sadly. don’t think the will of the people is what you would like to think it would be. I think the elected officials in MA are doing according to the will of the people.
Sorry. Double posted. My 9 month old keeps touching the iPadSadly. don’t think the will of the people is what you would like to think it would be. I think the elected officials in MA are doing according to the will of the people.
most were raised with good teachers telling them: 'guns do not belong in our democracy'. it is all they understand.sadly most just don’t care
A large rally of fat, old, white guys and glowies isn't doing anything positive.I think that what was (and still is) needed more than a petition is a "million man march." It's obviously a pipe dream, but if we could get a ton of pro-2A people from all over the nation to come march on Boston (or even DC?), that would send a message that would not be so quick to be ignored.
We all know that some believe we deserve to be f***ed as punishment for living in MA, but I doubt that most people in the nation hold such a divisive and regressive mentality.
Think of how the giant rallies in DC over the past several years worked to get people there. We need that.
How is that different than selling Noveske lowers and pre-ban Glock magazines at absurd prices????Holy sh*t!!!!
The dealers will be stock with unsold stock!!!
I'd load up on coffee and get in line at the Mill right about now.
Yup. It's all good. Nothing to see here. Maura is super cool, she is even pro hunting. (Sarcasm).Muh internet panic fear mongering.
Granfathering is in the bill.
/end thread
fear works, but it will not solve much, as per same reason of why schools do not teach boys how to fight properly anymore.Keeping all of the "migrant" crime front and center in the news cycle is what needs to be done
you overdid it. it better to let it all to cool off now, as you keep making bad situation worse.I never lied to anyone.
Except you can't carry pre-ban mags anymore if you are outside your house.I never lied to anyone.
My ad for the Noveske lowers has a full disclaimer that nobody ever has been charged for owning a post Healey lower. Except that poor guy who was arrested and I posted the charges which were posted on NES by one of our lawyers.
The ad is still up in the NES archives.
People like myself want to err on the side of caution regarding gun laws and those folks are my customer base.
Same thing with my premium brand new condition Drop Free Fully Metal Lined Square Notch Pre Ban mags. I was the only one who exclusively sold new old stock. My Pre Ban Externally Dated Colt AR15 mags are new in box also. The case was sealed since the 1970's.
You could carry post ban mags and probably never get arrested. But $250 is good insurance while CCW and those mags will last more than a lifetime.
You can’t carry more than 10 rounds anyway now so who gives a shit?Same thing with my premium brand new condition Drop Free Fully Metal Lined Square Notch Pre Ban mags. I carry an 8rd .45 anyway, but I make the choice. But the choice is still there, whether commies like it or notit`s a choice anyone can and should make for yourself.
home defense is one case.
a street case, facing a fresh 28yr old friendly neighborhood gestapo recruit who is eager to frisk and show the whole world who`s the boss now - well, it is a different story, at least for me.
