Emergency Preamble to be signed Weds?

There's nothing secret about it. There's no discernable reason why it would need to be different.

I bought a g19 maybe 10 years ago, at Pullman, and it had mismatched serial numbers. It was new otherwise. I’m pretty sure it was somebody’s attempt at doing something like a frame transfer as cautiously as possible.

I sold one Glock that I can remember in the past 20 years on FA10.

I have no interest in selling another as they are all buried.

I'm keeping all my Noveske's now. They are worth more to me than $3,000.00.
The ridicule was well deserved with they way you marketed your product through fear and deception (you were well informed that what you wrote in your ads about the law was not accurate)

However, I absolutely agree with the statement that they have an elevated value FOR YOU.
I have a couple of guns that open market value is a pittance compared to their personal value to me.

With a nation wide ban which may come in the future - those lowers could be worth $10,000.00 each in Massachusetts. They are now stored off site in a secure room in a fireproof vault.
The only way a national ban is happening is if kameltoe is elected and is able to get super majority in congress.
Even if that happens, you can't hide the signal today - it would take 30 years to clear even half the guns from this country and probably 10-15% of the population dead.

We might get some finality on the "guidance" for the new law. That would make the price go up even more.

It was a fun ride buying guns and digging holes all these years. Collecting mags was great but now I can't even bring them outside.

Kamala will be the next president, the court will get packed, anti judges will all me installed in the lower courts.

Crime will go through the roof with all the millions of illegals on their way.

Sad.

If the situation is like you state, why bury anything? A gun in the ground is as useless as its cowardly owner.

I keep a couple guns at home.
I fear theft, fire, and confiscation.
So the rest are secure off site or buried.
I can only use one gun at a time so it's not a big loss to bury the rest.

It’s no secret that the more we openly discuss legal ways to obtain things that our overlords don’t want us to have, the more they learn and they continue to implement new mandates, laws, press conferences to shut those legal avenues down.

Fight club rules
Yep. Too often in this awful, anti-Constitutional state, we are our own worst enemies. :(

@Reptile If you care so much about the processes of obtaining a Glock, why not go up to the mill and ask a dealer and buy one. We know you’re not actually going to do that because it’s all trolly bullshit that you’re spewing. Just give us more inane anecdotes about burying your shit and veiled references to your stupid lowers and mags.

I’m keeping my Lowers and my mags are worthless and illegal to sell.
Thank you.
What's your plan if a fire breaks out?
Call the FD to put out the fire. If the house burns down I’m not out any guns as they are not here.

I actually misread what you said. I thought you were keeping the guns in the house because you fear theft. Like a break in.

So, what do you do?

Buy a frame for $300 and pay another $300 in a separate transaction for the upper?

Do I have to leave the shop first with the frame and come back with a wig?

Nope. Generally nothing like that. You don't really have to do anything other than show up and buy the gun and fill out paperwork. The mechanics of a frame transfer are largely irrelevant and almost transparent to a buyer.

Nobody does this.

They were very, very weird that's probably why you ran into that.

Was this a gen 3?

The other possibility is that Glock replaced the frame on the gun they frequently did this bullshit for Mass people where they would try to get you a frame that was newer but still "compliant" etc.

That could have simply been a gun glock repaired.

I do think it was a gen 3, and I vaguely remember - at the time - there were classified posts on here from dealers - maybe it was them, maybe not - who would have a bunch of Glock frames and slides they’d list. Maybe I’m making that up, but I remember having the impression that it was to try to help get around concerns about selling Glocks.

If any of the parts have a serial number that begins with only one letter, it was manufactured to be a replacement. If it begins with two or more letters it was cannibalized from another gun. So osayuth the Glock Armorer's instructors.

I remember those. A lot of those people were probably flippers.

Then they would use a dealer to move the frame.

I think a lot of that stuff also at one point or another with some sort of a ruse because people were more afraid at some point.

I still dont get why the f***ing frame transfer is such a secret to discuss online. @Reptile I have been trying to figure this out, but I get banned every time I ask!

One FFL buys a Glock and separates it into frame and slide. A second FFL buys that frame and sells it to you as a frame, not a handgun. You get a free slide with any frame purchase. Come and get me, Maura?

It's because you guys are being faggots and asking about things that are not consistent. There literally is not "one answer".

From the consumer side, there is no secret you just go buy a f***ing gun and follow directions for your background check. 🤣 it's functionally not much different than walking into deli ticket emporium and doing the same thing.

"Not usually but maybe, possibly"

The thing you guys can't seem to wrap your head around.... The way different dealers do things is not consistent because there's dependencies and circumstances. These things matter. So the way some dealer(s) may do it is not exactly the same from another and there is no like simplistic answer that will appease the retard level NPC brain.

Yea, I can see that I guess. The thing that @Reptile said about the Globe article is right though. That's where I learned about frame transfers from. I personally don't care how they do it. I didn't ask for the same reason I dont ask for a receipt for a donut.

Let’s all thank the Globe for getting the word out.

Like the time I mentioned how to get a sugar baby from a particular sugar daddy site.

Suddenly that site got 100 referrals from NES.

I think I only got one “Thank You” out of 100 gun creepers as my girlfriend calls them.

Not sure if serious, it was general knowledge for a long ass time before some shitty moonbat newspaper wrote about it. The dealers i used in the mid 2000s often had lines outside their shops much like deli ticket emporium on tax free day.

You guys really need to like, go outside or something. 🤣

It looks just like a frame transfer always has to the buyer. The secret sauce is behind the counter. That is good since no one can figure it out by watching it done here.

And right now I am aware of only two rooms doing them. The others have not figured it out yet (and likely won't)

You can come spend money but don't expect to go away enlightened on the process.

If you searched online it would tell you that glocks were illegal to buy in MA. If you went outside and asked, then people would report you to the police. The only people who knew about this shit were gun nuts, and I'm not about to go ask some future maga boomers how to get a gun. Like how when I joined this site and started asking questions. I expect I would have gotten a worse response in person back in the pre-Globe days. On one hand boomers bitch about now liberal and gun-phobic MA is, on the other they'd never tell you how to actually do anything. (rant over for now)

Yes because everything printed on the internet is true!!!!!!!!🤣

Not sure if serious. You really need to go outside. 🤣 Now you're just making shit up. 🤣

You know how I made my first off roster buy? by having a conversation with a middle aged woman about guns and the XD she just bought. (At the time, none of them were on the roster). Hardly a "gun nut".

You may be surprised to know how anti-gun my circle is. I couldn't find 3 people to get me letters of recommendation as prescribed by Malden PD. Only reason I got my LTC now is thanks to Bruen. Also moving the f*** out of Malden, the traffic capital of the world.
