See Reply #48 for the form you need as a MA NR to legally attend and bring your guns/ammo with you.

For the 17,847,231st time, the EOPS list and the AG regs have absolutely nothing to do with what guns you can own or possess in Massachusetts, resident or not.

You cannot possess any firearms that would have been illegal under the federal AWB, including any new guns that would have been illegal had the ban been made permanent in its original form.

You cannot possess any high capacity magazines that were made after September 13, 1994.

All firearms must be transported unloaded and in either the locked trunk or in a locked container. (There's an acception for loaded handguns carried with an LTC-A.)

Out-of-state people without a Massachusetts non-resident license might want to download a copy of the "competition" program and carry it with them in case of problems.

The shooting positions are covered but that won't stop any wind from blowing rain in, or protect you between there and your car. For what it's worth, the current forecast for Saturday afternoon calls for a 30% chance of rain and 8-10mph winds.

I will be there, and I'm probably going to bring my little sister (if that's OK).

Even better! The more the better, and of course NOTHING wrong with getting you sister out there shooting... You're a good brother.

Does anybody have any 10 round 9MM Ruger P series magazines that I (and anybody else who wants to shoot my P95) can use while I'm there? All I've got are high caps, and buying 10 rounders is going to cut into my ammo budget for the weekend. [angry]

I have a Ruger PC9 (that uses P series mags) carbine that I was considering bringing (there is an issue with the scope, which is why it is a "maybe"). At any rate I have a number of pre-ban hi-caps for it that I can bring. NOTE: They aren't Ruger mfd, I think they are cheap junk mags but they work in the carbine. Please send me an Email directly on Friday to remind me to pull them out and take them with me, OK?

Can anyonew recommend anywhere close to NH / I-93 that will probably have a 10rd mag for a Glock 22 in stock?

I had ordered one from Botach that was supposedly in stock after all the good internet sites were sold out, but surprise surprise their website lied.

Thanks.

I'm going to State Line Gun Shop in Mason tomorrow. If I call them and they have one, do you want me to pick one up for you? I'll be on the forum during the day tomorrow.

i think i'm going to have to withdraw, if someone else can bring an m1 carbine for others please do. my scooter is not suitable for use with any rain, i'm afraid of damaging it.

Grr, Botach never has anything in stock that shows on sale or that they say that they have! One of the worst places to do business with.

I was planning on heading over there on Saturday morning, can you see if they have any deals on jacketed .357, .38, and .45 for me while you're there?

FS has 10 rnd G22 mags for $12.95 listed on their website. I picked up one there 2 months ago.

I will have some G22 mags for you to use there. I also have some G17, G19, and G23 mags. I am the WSC sectretary and will be wearing my "Taronga Zoo Sydney" cap.

I will also have some loaded AR15 mags that my son will be looking to empty and some 7.62 x 39 to put through something. The Scout campout at Salisbury for this weekend was canceled due to campsite being under water.

I'll check. I think I have a spare 10 rounder that I don't use! $5 and it's yours to keep!

I'll just throw a bunch of glock mags (21 and 22) in my range bag so you folks can use them!

Tweed,

I'm bringing my as yet unfired Yugo 59/66 SKS for it's maiden voyage. You're welcome to fire some of those 7.62 X 39's through that if you like! (Provided that they are hard-primered rounds)

Thanks for the offer Mark. Sounds like between Tweed and Big Daddy ACP I will be ok for mags though.

Tweed and Big Daddy ACP: Thanks for offering to bring spare mags, just look for the guy with the English accent [grin], and Big Daddy ACP: I will be happy to take one off your hands at that price [wink]

Just found out the wife has reserves, so I can make it! For those with an S&M inclination I will bring both 500 magnums.
You can shoot them all you like, but I cannot fund a bunch of ammo.

I bought a box of bullets today...How the f&*k can you afford to shoot those things?!?!

Trust me...1 box goes a LOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGG way!

I only shoot a box or two a month. Gotta get the Dillon set up for the 500 and 45LC.

I suggest shooting gloves if you have them!

No "deals" on any ammo they say -=- prices are on their way up. They have .45 FMJ for around $15/box.
