Is that seriously an original model 3 with the original box in that condition? If so that's incredible.
I love six shooters......
"Have Gun Will Travel reads the card of a man. A night without armor in a savage land...."
Ruger Vaquero in 45LC with 7.5" cavalry model barrel.
"I'm your huckleberry....."
Ruger New Vaquero in 45LC/45ACP with 5.5 artillery model barrel.
"I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to other people and I expect the same from them."
Colt Single Action Army in 45LC. Second generation (1962) with a 4.75" gunslinger barrel.

I'm not really into the antiques, C&R's or older guns; did they produce reproductions?
Love cowboy guns! I want the Calvary model next!

What is the dreaded lock people refer to? I am not a big revolver guy, so any info is appreciated.
It's a mechanical lock that is usually fitted into the frame or under the grip of a revolver so the owner can lock the action with a special key. It's a safety device but most folks don't like the potential of the mechanism failing in a critical situation and locking the revolver.
