What is is? What does it do and how is it impacting the new law?emergency preamble
Causes the law to take immediate effect, negating the reprieve that the petition would grant. What is is? What does it do and how is it impacting the new law?
At the 17.26 mark of the video Toby says the the petition is not null and void as it will still make it's way to the ballot in 2026 even though it's not suspended up until then. That's my interpretation, no reason to stop gathering signatures. My club was having a signing event Saturday, I guess that pig is tits up.

Mine are extra killy looking.I'll have some extremely evil looking grandfathered ASF (Formerly known as assault pistols) for sale the day this bull shit law becomes effective.
Place your orders and be at peace. So if the emergency preamble is put in place on Wednesday do we know if target sports usa will still be accepting orders? I was gonna put in another big order before the 23rd but I guess I'm shit out of luck. Because even if I ordered now I wouldn't have it by Wednesday. Plus this really f***s my plans up on getting a stripped lower there's now way I can get it because most likely I will be delayed on my background check so the shop won't be able to transfer it after Wednesday. This sucks big time. So much for building a AR pistol.
I thought that in the law there was no more online sales of ammo to ma residence from ma dealers That's what some one told me.Not sure if serious
This law has nothing to do with ammo, or nearly nothing.
Ya I will for ammo. But if I purchase the lower I want and I'm not able to have it transferred until after Wednesday will the shop be able to transfer it to me?Place your orders and be at peace.
Target Sports is not a Ma dealer (more specifically in the law, a “licensee”).I thought that in the law there was no more online sales of ammo to ma residence from ma dealers That's what some one told me.

I believe the date of purchase when you signed the 4473 is what counts, someone correct me if I'm wrong.Ya I will for ammo. But if I purchase the lower I want and I'm not able to have it transferred until after Wednesday will the shop be able to transfer it to me?
The ship for lowers sailed back on August.Ya I will for ammo. But if I purchase the lower I want and I'm not able to have it transferred until after Wednesday will the shop be able to transfer it to me?
Target Sports isn't in MAI thought that in the law there was no more online sales of ammo to ma residence from ma dealers That's what some one told me.
Not if they were in the state on 8/1. I already found a shop with a couple to sell. I was told as long as it was in inventory on 8/1 it good to go?The ship for lowers sailed back on August.
I know there not in MA. I just didn't know if they were going to stop selling to MA residence? Im still new to the gun scene so I'm still trying to work out all this bullshit in this new law.Target Sports isn't in MA
Yes it is good to go.Not if they were in the state on 8/1. I already found a shop with a couple to sell. I was told as long as it was in inventory on 8/1 it good to go?
Serious question though, if someone buys something tomorrow or Wednesday (if the emergency preamble rumors are true ) and gets delayed, can the dealer transfer the item post signing date?
Nobody knows.
Place your order and see what happens. We can't tell the future; this is uncharted territory. Worst case, they cancel the order and refund whatever you've paid.
Once the preamble is signed then it's going to be a shit show of litigation but we are going to need a very clean transaction to start everything.Really, this is uncharted territory. On the one hand, the FFLs doing the transfer are losing their livelihood this week, and might be eager to get any money they can. On the other hand, they won't want to risk jail.
It's going to depend on their level of risk-aversion.
I would suggest going there tomorrow. Not if they were in the state on 8/1. I already found a shop with a couple to sell. I was told as long as it was in inventory on 8/1 it good to go?
The Mill is going to be MOBBED today!I would suggest going there tomorrow.
