its as if the law never passed. What happens if it gets repealed, do we go back to the previous version of the law?
keep in mind, it has no affect on what is happening in Illinois, they could both succeed.

What makes you think Stupidchusetts will comply. They are already saying they will not comply with the new administration regarding illegal migrants. Not "one and only," but in this case the courts might actually be faster. SCOTUS is well on its way to granting cert to that Illinois case, plus a couple more, and a ruling by them might moot this law before November 2026.
Things are definitely moving, and you're right that this repeal effort is one of those things.
They did with Bruen, Caetano, and the other federal stuff that people like Comm2a whacked them with. What makes you think Stupidchusetts will comply. They are already saying they will not comply with the new administration regarding illegal migrants.
Well then......Why not follow their lead?!What makes you think Stupidchusetts will comply. They are already saying they will not comply with the new administration regarding illegal migrants.
What makes you think Stupidchusetts will comply.
So they had to not do may issue…big change. Outside of the major cities and a few shitty towns nothing changed.Their response to Bruen.
That's what makes me think they'll comply.

If you mean the new legislation then yes they did…they threw a retard temper tantrum
That is awfully optimistic........I'm on record repeatedly as saying the new legislation is not serious. It is a virtue signal. It is not going to be meaningfully enforced, and it too will quietly go away someday soon.
True, but the law is the law, and it is there. They can and will use it against people as best they can.I'm on record repeatedly as saying the new legislation is not serious. It is a virtue signal

Yup, most likely it will be used to add on charges to jam up the guy with no LTC, who already has some kind of criminal record.True, but the law is the law, and it is there. They can and will use it against people as best they can.
CanjuraWhat makes you think Stupidchusetts will comply. They are already saying they will not comply with the new administration regarding illegal migrants.
Once again I hope you are correct. I guess we all need a set of these.............If they ever do? Wake me up then.
They won't. There's already a laundry list of provisions under that new law that the state is telling itself not to bother enforcing. A lot of the rest is de facto delayed indefinitely because it cannot be followed.
Never said it wasn’t complianceThis was compliance with Bruen, whether you think of it that way or not. And they did it almost immediately, meekly.

I disagree entirely. The state has no intention to jam up criminals. That’s the demographic that they answer to. The intention is to curb lawful and peaceful gun ownership. That’s the demographic that is their opposition.Yup, most likely it will be used to add on charges to jam up the guy with no LTC, who already has some kind of criminal record.
Selective enforcementYup, most likely it will be used to add on charges to jam up the guy with no LTC, who already has some kind of criminal record.
But you never know when they will want to make an example of some poor slob who thought he was flying under the radar.
Selective enforcement
This place is full of so many pantshitters the minute one dude gets nailed for anything under the new law they will scurry to their holes
Just look at Marthas Vineyard. In and out in like 48 hoursThey did with Bruen, Caetano, and the other federal stuff that people like Comm2a whacked them with.
All the crap about illegals is just virtue signaling from moonbats, in reality they will mostly just step out of the way if the feds actually ever start rounding up illegals for deportation.
Also there's a long MA tradition of leftists being hypocrites. Theres a silent contingent of white lefties that will be secretly happy about illegal brown people getting removed. the moon bats in the state make a massive sport out of talking about supporting one thing but secretly desiring another.
I made a purchase from Primary Arms last night - a set of take down pins (I like to have a spare set of everything), a BCM BCG and a Geissele Trigger (come to find out LaRue doesn't ship to Mass anymore so I figured I'd try new one). Anyway, a new email arrived about item(s) that may be subject to state regulations. Just the BCG & Trigger are listed and I must check a box YES that I will use them in a 'Compliant Manner' or NO and it will cancel my order. I picked Yes.
With no definition of 'Compliant Manner' I'm assuming not making another evil assault weapon. These are just parts for one thing, second - they are going into the parts box for when I may need to replace a part - not making/building anything.
Anyone else see stuff like this on other sites? Target Sports is still the same as always - got some 9mm JHP last week.
Lawsuits require plaintiffs, those with standing. And it's not good enough that the law be unconstitutional, even if it's obviously so. Someone has to suffer because of it. And with the delays in enforcement, and the confusion also delaying enforcement, and people generally don't want to get arrested and spend time in jail. All this will make getting good plantiffs. What I want to know is...
Where the HELL are all the lawsuits we were promised???
During black Friday I ordered one of PA's $150 uppers and a bunch of other stuff for about 50% off. Mixed in with the confirmation emails that I ignored was that one asking me to promise to obey the law. After a week they cancelled my order. Everything had gone back up to 100%.I made a purchase from Primary Arms last night - a set of take down pins (I like to have a spare set of everything), a BCM BCG and a Geissele Trigger (come to find out LaRue doesn't ship to Mass anymore so I figured I'd try new one). In regards to the idiots blocking the road, push the barrels off to the side, hose them down with water and leave them.
If SCOTUS rules features based bans unconstitutional, Mass will no choice but to comply.Never said it wasn’t compliance
I’m saying it’s minuscule at best, it wasn’t a real big change… real compliance will be what they do if/when AWB is ruled unconstitutional.
That’s why I said it is the real testIf SCOTUS rules features based bans unconstitutional, Mass will no choice but to comply.
They could try to enforce but that would end up costing the state and the person doing the enforcement - a clear violation of a Supreme Court opinion on an enumerated right would immediately pierce qualified immunity.
Did you read Canjura? That’s why I said it is the real test
Going from May issue to shall issue was a very small change. Outside the big cities and a handful of shitty towns it was business as usual.
And yet here we areDid you read Canjura?
That was the real test - When the Mass SJC writes an opinion like that when they had H4885 in hand says that they know the game is lost and the clock is running short.
A lot of people on NES have this fascination with getting butt fck'd by the state and won't accept major wins unless every Mass gun law is struck down at once and the local chief cleans their guns while fellating them.
