Interesting as well. I'm always looking to be as cost effective as possible and cheap! LOL. The Lyman though seems to be more practical in the long run. Just need to get past this cycle on my CC to order. Where's the best overall place to get the Lyman from? I saw Natchez had it for $124 plus shipping. Haven't dealt with them so maybe someone could let me know what they think or perhaps another place? You could also do the WCT. Worlds cheapest trimmer on ebay and use it with a hand drilll

Made 10 each 357 mag with unique powder to test out. 125 grain jsp with 9 grains unique......did this before changing the dies to 45 acp
Ran 100 rounds of 45acp with the standard bullseye recipe. Had to make some ammo for plates wed night.....still need to make a couple more boxes.
Country pond in Newton nh. I run the practice plates session for members only on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays each month from 5pm till it's too dark to see, everyone is out of ammo, or everyone is too tired to shoot anymore. I run the timer....run it like a standard plate shoot.......guys can keep their times or not. It's alot of fun.Where do you shoot plates on weds nights?
Nice I just bought two boxes of the 53 grain VMAX bullets yesterday. The CCI Military small rifle primers are all magnum primers anyway. After decades (yikes) of loading pistol calibers...may I introduce the very first rifle rounds produced by me....on my Dillon 550.
223 - 55GR Hornady VMAX heads over 22.5GR (probably a little low) H335. Using a CCI 450 (Magnum) primer since that's all I could get my hands on.

Thanks Queen. Let me find it and give it a read.check out the thread i made reviewing it. In it i give you the case length measurements for my 8mm brass.
every gun is a bit different but all my 30 cal rifles seem to like that 2550-2700 fps range with the 168sTested the 308 rounds I made for my father and sub par groupings all between 2-4” out of a sub moa gun, back to drawing board. Seemed 42.5 and 43 gr grouped the smallest but on the low side of charge weight. None of the brass shows any pressure sign so thinking I’ll make some more at 42.5-43 and some around 44-45 see if they improve. I hinted to my father we need a chrono if he wants better groups lol.
Also started breakin of the new Tikka 308 with some factory rounds, now I have some brass to get some measurements. 29 rounds down the pipe on her. First two shots from gun 100yrds with steel case Wolf 155gr FMJView attachment 387767
The last three shots of day. 100 yrds Remington 165gr Core lokt View attachment 387768

200? Don't forget, I am an old man. So, we are only talking maybe 40-50 per range session. I get tired as I approach the 60 round mark, have to save energy for the ride home.I mean if you love hand cranking 200+ cases by hand each post range session, feel free to.
Anybody with the Hornady manual that could look up 308 168gr match hpbt with varget and re15? I wanna compare to Lyman and lee books.

im surprised , the older guys (older than me) want to spend less time reloading and more time at the range.200? Don't forget, I am an old man. So, we are only talking maybe 40-50 per range session. I get tired as I approach the 60 round mark, have to save energy for the ride home.
I know the Lyman doesnt chamfer either inside or outsideDo these other trimmers chamfer inside and out? Asking because I have a Giraud, but I'd consider a 2nd setup for .308 if they do.
