Emergency Preamble to be signed Weds?

EOPSS Ch. 135 advisory just released. Highlights:
- old Approved Weapons Roster will be incorporated into new Roster
- persons issued licenses after 8/1 will need to retake new BFS w/live fire despite the clear statutory language to contrary
Only 6 paragraphs (despite over 2 months of review). No info on the sale of rifles and shotguns by dealers or AWB enforcement.

Thanks for some clarification. I borrowed some language from the email I got from Goal.View attachment 922835
Nothing you said was wrong. Just because she isn't technically breaking a law doesn't mean she's not a threat to democracy. She's clearly doing it as an end-run around the perfectly lawful petition. There is no emergency here, and thus she is acting contrary to the spirit of the emergency preamble.

So the roster that is required for any rifle or shotgun at all to be sold by a dealer in the state starting tomorrow (assuming Healy signs the emergency preamble tomorrow) doesn’t exist yet???

Say it ain’t so!

I wasn’t living in this chithole back in 1998. How long did it take before anyone was able to buy a handgun from a dealer after the roster provision became law??

I don't know but wouldn't not being able to buy a single long gun in this state be a simple trigger for lawsuit? Obviously a clear 2A violation, even in MA?
I mean even during covid when the state tried to stop gun shops from opening, a judge stepped in and told the state to f*** off and allowed shops to open.
