Uberti 1860 Henry rifle in .45 Colt. Man, this is one fun shooter. I put a couple of hundred rounds through it and it fucntioned smoothly and without incident. It holds 13 rounds and while not a tack driver by any means I was able to hit static clay pigeons at 50 - 60 yards. Another childhood dream fulfilled. The photo is a stock photo.

Well, it was a toss up.
A numbers matching Mauser 98K or give the antique car its due; and chose the antique. We took care of the rust and Bondo (quarters and fenders) with sheet metal and a great paint job (urethane and clear coat) in the original color, code "T", Martinique Bronze. $2300 well spent.
Paint and body work for 2,300.00?! If the car up close looks as nice as it does in the picture then I would of waited on the gun too![]()
It looks just as nice up close.

I'd have never guessed Maaco! They have such a bad rep for being hacks.
The car does look great though.
If you do all the prep and bring it to them to be sprayed, the paint will look great, their fault lies incopetence when it comes to paint prep.
Well, it was a toss up.

Next year I'll look for that special Mauser, unless I get lucky on our anniversary next month.
