You may want to search existing threads before you start a new one. You will probably find some in-depth discussions are already there.

Might save you some grief from the self-proclaimed "thread monitors" who will tell you, "That's already been asked."

Welcome aboard and there are plenty of threads that will have the info you need and don't worry if it is an old thread, alot of necrothreads get resurrected.

I am a veteran Police officer, 1 1/2 years until I can retire - Thank God.. I live in Mass, (I am sorry to say) and joined to try and learn about reloading. I am mainly interested in 12G and 9mm. I am looking forward to learning these subjects and hopefully to find a mentor of sorts.

Welcome Brother. Take good care of Emma Peel! ;)

For learning about reloading, there is a sub-forum here and your best bet is a local gun club where you can find a reloader to mentor you or perhaps you have another gun enthusiast at your PD?

Back in the 1970s, I spent half a day with a gun club member learning the ropes for reloading. Shotgun is the easiest and MEC makes some great reloaders.

Welcome. Lots of reloaders at NES. I would start here, What did you do in the reloading room recently? hang around, ask some questions. The classifieds here have lots of good reloading gear to help esase into the reloading hobby.

Hello -

Somewhat new member but yet to post in this forum [wave]

I originally found NES by googling 1-off questions during the process of getting my firearms license, and in almost all instances was directed to a discussion here. I figured it was about time to just sign up already! I became a green member to support the forum and to do my part to 'keep the lights on' :)

I've been lurking for a while and posting here and there since. I'm a CPA in MA by trade, and enjoy reading wordy legal discussions (when they come up) and spirited discussions on the 2A and what direction NES members see it going in. I also appreciate anything funny!

I've been using firearms since a young age and enjoy shooting. Admittedly, I was quite the Fudd for most of my life (its just how I was taught), but have come around to leave those days behind me 🤪

I currently have two kids under two, so shooting is not something I've been able to do a whole lot of. I recently joined a range for the first time on my own and look forward to heading there whenever I can.

Hi everyone! Have had a few friends on NES for years, but have never signed up. I'm originally from Massachusetts, but have lived in Michigan for the last 10 years. Still visit MA often to visit family and friends and in light of the Bruen decision, I've decided to finally apply for a MA non-res LTC. Looking forward to participating on NES!
