The US Army Definition of assault rifle from the Vietnam War era:
To be fair, @chris_1001 was responding to my question which was, literally by definition, about an "assault rifle." Was curious if somehow MA worked in a full auto ban (like in the original house bill) but looks like that hasn't happened.

Sure and he wrote "assault weapon" which I replied to. Not a big deal I thought I might enlighten him on the terms.
I'm not sure about milk guy's definition. He says every, and he means only MA so is there now more than one definition of an AW in MA?

Again I admitted I was wrong and have heard so many times “assault weapon” vs “assault rife” I gave a knee jerk reaction.

I won’t edit my post to correct it.

Carry on.

well, yeah. guns wasn't really even in the top ten reasons I moved away from so many family and friends. high cost of living. housing. taxes. crumbling infrastructure. I grew increasingly intolerant of winters. I like my quality of life here in coastal NC and don't ever see us moving back to New England. We visit a couple times a year and enjoy when people come visit us.
Same here. Moving to be free to move close to my daughter or son wherever they end up. Job number 1. But like you likely the Carolinas.

This wasnt what got me moving a lot of other backwards shit became intolerable as well. Like someone said this is just shit frosting on the turd cake of high taxes, illegals, retarded pols, weather…etc.

I would never fault anyone for staying and fighting. But over time generational loss of rights is all ive gotten here in my 50 plus years.
I have been lucky to live on acreage in red central ma. If I was on a postsge stamp east of 495 the situation would have been much more intolerable. We do have good jobs and good people here.

Friends and family are already lining up for weeks in my spare bedrooms Dec-April. Our best friends are already booked for a month every year and we will probably see them overall more than we do now. Same with my parents and MIL staying a month as well.

I can come back here anytime I want as I have two properties to stay at and own in trusts right now. I will need to come back actually to fix and help.

This bill is gross….. the no carrying or using standard cap mags outside your home and frame is a firearm are gonna make it tough to get around the way we used to. Plus all the other shit we havent seen yet.

Agree most that do not comply will not have issues. This is a big paper tiger. But dealers and pantshitters will and if you dont comply. Good luck as its a toss of the coin. However this shuts off ownership for new people without stuff. Future not bright when you kill the future with a swipe of the pen.

Not that government isnt killing our whole future off anyway with their spending. But this ones using your money against you pretty hard.
And funding my own demise of freedom while pols spit in my face collecting my tax dollars is what frosted my ass most about living here.

Starting 8/9 I retire, scrape off my inspection sticker, take my front license plate off and drive away. Good or bad…Peace out brothers.

It sure seems like they listened to everyone mocking the ineffective language of the existing AWB. RIP to everyone not stocking up over the past decade which was filled with hints that this was coming.

Oh you mean MFS?!

I just updated my ad...

Shouldn't they be worth a lot LESS if no one will be able to carry them? At the range it doesn't matter if your mags hold 10 or 15 so why wouldn't I just buy brand new ten rounders for $25? Your pre-bans just lost all of their appeal.

I don’t see where it says anything about not being able to carry them. You’d be a fool not to anyway.

I actually bought a Uzi mag the other day and it was outrageous. I think it was $47.
I’ve got a magazine that’s stuck in my Mac 10 hit the release. It comes out part of the way, but I can’t get it out.

I really need at least one more 30 round Ruger mag ideally stainless apparently a new Mac 10 magazine

Unless they try to make you register the magazines, the law has no teeth and I’m not paying per magazine…

Like what I’m gonna do pay for every single individual link for my belt feds?

This will just have to go to court. It shouldn’t have to, but it’s gonna have to, and I have no faith in that actually working out for us.

Going forward you can only carry them in your own home or on a private range. They will have to be locked in a secure container while in transport, effectively banning their carry in public.

131M:

A person authorized under this subsection to possess a large capacity feeding device may only transfer the device to an heir or devisee, a person residing outside the commonwealth, or a licensed dealer.

f***.

Is your trunk considered a lot container, though there’s a possible way I’m gonna be able to buy enough cases to transport my f***ing magazines

Unless they added a definition that restricts what “locked container” means, you can put a crappy padlock on a duffel bag and it counts.

I think there’s already existing lot that considers it a lot container, but before it could just be in your direct possession like in your gun

This entire bill is stupid and it’s gonna cause more problems than it’ll ever solve concern. It won’t solve a single one. We’ll have to see what it really says when it comes out and I’m sure they’ll be loopholes. You could drive a f***ing truck through.

I just don’t wanna have to register anything because in theory there’s not really a registry but it’s starting to sound like there really is.

Let’s say the state f***ed up recording a transfer how the f*** could that possibly be my responsibility?

You paid 47 for 1 uzi mag?

It's not your responsibility, but you'll have to pay to prove your innocence in court.

Didn’t see it as I just skimmed the doc, but anyone see language officially stopping mail order ammo coming into the state?
Need to have a special license to sell, and jump through hoops. No one will ship here after this. There's also an ammo registry - all purchases will be tracked. f*** these f***ing a**h***s.

Trunk not accessible from the passenger compartment is considered a locked container. This new bill classifies a locked glove box as locked container as well. Lock the cocksuckers in the front glove compartment on the way to the range. Lol. Alternately, get a cheap plastic case and use the cheapest padlocks you can find. I go cheap on this shit because I’m not participating in my own abuse.

How many people can legally be on a lease on an apartment in Nashua?

Just curious...
"local authorities are baffled about how several hundred people are all signed on to lease this 1 apartment"

Postal workers have stated they "hate delivering mail to that dam place, always takes a truck load to deliver all the dam boxes"
